I didn't JUST get a healthy dose of fresh air and good soil and fabulous knowledge with my very own (first time ever OMO!) plot at Las Milpitas Community Garden ... I also got to experience what it feels like to (re)build community community - from the ground UP ❤️‍?

It's always fulfilling and rewarding volunteering here. I have also learned tons about gardening and farming just from the few days that I have been there. Amazing and caring people who have a definite mission and purpose in helping people learn gardening and farming techniques.

Only low income are allowed to garden here. People who make less than 22k a year. That defeats the whole purpose of a "community" garden! Bring the entire community together. Don't exclude people!
