First time here just so you're aware they do charge for parking just to enter. I came early on Saturday morning and the weather Was great and not Too hot. There is plenty for families to do, Lots of trails and options. Be mindful one trail says possible mountain lions to beware. We rented a little boat.. It was that or paddle boats that your feet to move. The lake felt a bit smaller than lake Miramar. They do Is not rent out bicycles. I definitely want to check out the archery area next time.

Went here to camp on one of the special event days. So much fun, awesome for families. The kids had a blast, they wanted to stay longer but it's a one day event. We also hooked around lake Patty and use the kids playground. So much fun. The playground is super modern. The park has tons of benefits and bbq concrete areas. It also has concrete rings to build a charcoal or propane campfire (no wood fires allowed). So you don't even need your own grill or chairs! Ground was green, grassy but not wet... Which is awesome. Grassy hill so that kids can roll down just like when you were a kid. Fishing is available just check the website for updates. You will need a daily permit to fish. I did not fish on this day.
