If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Best taffy I ever ate homemade in store, also the bread for sandwiches an Danish is the best bread ever tasted. Owners are super nice an friendly. An amazing place to eat in downtown wilson. We went in one day an tried it an had to go back the very next day again to try more stuff.

So glad we stopped in! This little unassuming place knocked lunch out of the park! Although they don't have seating inside, there is a great park nearby so we enjoyed our lunch and some sunshine at Whirligig Park. We got the hotdog combos with fries and drinks, then added cookies and some of their taffy and truffles. Everything was sooo delicious! And the homemade hotdog rolls were so soft and scrumptious. We enjoyed every bite! I'm going to daydream about those Oreo truffles! A++

Went to Wilson to see the Whirligigs. Stumbled upon Kruegers Candies and had an awesome experience. They were making the Strawberry Taffy, so we could see how it was done. Super awesome that the candy is made right there! Friendly staff and delicious caramels and Taffy. This taffy is better than anything we’ve ever had- great flavors snd huge pieces! Cotton Candy really tastes like cotton Candy! The fireball flavor has actual fireball pieces. You must put this place on your list to stop by!

The candy here is really good, but the hotdogs with freshly made buns are the best in wilson. You can choose beef or red hot dogs. The service is friendly and fast for fresh made products. The interior could use some TLC is my only criticism.

I had the turkey sub with all the ingredients-it was wonderful. Had read the wonderful reviews about the bread being fresh & soft and found this to be true. I also recently purchased the oreo truffles, and they were awesome!
My Valentine may get a few of these if I decide to share.

Every single time I come into Krueger’s, I am greeted by the same 3 or 4 lovely individuals. Their customer service makes you feel like you’re a part of their family. Not only do they sell old fashioned candy, fudge, and ice cream, but they make their own hot dog buns every single morning. This is my favorite place to eat on Nash Street. You can get 2 hot dogs, chips, and a drink for only $5. 10/10 best hot dog and candy place in Wilson. I love coming here and I hope they stay in business for a long time.

Super helpful for a first time customer, and the turkey sub I got was probably the best I have ever had - for a realistic, affordable price! Got lots of stocking stuffers and lunch. Totally will be back, and highly recommend!
