It is currently lambing season. There are 17 new lambs and two new calves. This is a real working farm. They have a summer camp for kids so they can learn about working the farm. Costumed docents milk the cows, answer questions, and give darmhouse tours every hour at the top of the hour.

Tip: It's a good idea to wear rubber boots or old shoes when visiting as the paths are quite muddy, and there are horse droppings on the paths.

One of the cleanest and best farms in the area. Great for photo shoots and family times. Staff were second to none. We had a wonderful time there.

Went there after hours so couldn't see the actual farm. But from outside it looked nice. Big parking lot.
Walking and biking paths.
They have events all year even in the winter.

We enjoyed our sunny mid morning visit to Kline Creek Farm and then also trekked a bit on the trail leading up to the large Timber Lake. The Farm is really nice and is an excellent place to come with the family, especially younger kids. We enjoyed the tour of the Kline Creek house and the person giving us tours did an excellent job. Several other working farm areas - wind driven water pump, ice house, barns and more and several farm animals make this an excellent get away from urban life.

Wonderful slice of local farm history. They suggest donations for entry, suggested $5. Honey shop, affordable gift shop of nature goods, iron goods, homemade wax candles and honey. Visits at the house museum available on the hour when you hear the bell. I saw a horse team and gentleman plowing, happy chickens running about, baby sheep hanging with their mothers, sweetest pigs, cattle, etc. I enjoyed it so much I didn't want to leave. They have special events such a maple sap pulling.

We went to Klein Creek Farm on a whim one day, my toddler and I. It was a really warm winter day and we wanted to take advantage of the weather. We couldn't have had a better time! The property is beautiful and the woman in the visitors center was so very helpful and let us know there were tours of the house hourly. So we walked over and caught the woman leading the tours as she was coming out to ring the bell signifying that a tour was about to start. She said she needed to check the chicken coop for eggs and we could come. We got to help gather the eggs that were there before going on a tour if the big house. After the tour we came outside and heard hammering and went to explore. We found the source of the noise in a barn near the house. They were putting winter horse shoes on the horses and we watched for awhile. Then we got to the cows at feeding time. We can't wait for another warm day to visit our new favorite outdoor destination.

We returned today after a few years. This time with a now 8 year old and younger sister (5) for the maple sugaring demonstrations. We had a great time trying our hand at drilling the hole for the spile and tapping it in with a hammer. We can't wait to try our maple sugaring we bought at the gift shop.

We enjoyed our trip and the “Back to School” house tour. We’d really like to come back on a day when the volunteers are all out there, too! Most contented flock of chickens I’ve ever seen.
