Delicious burgers and fries. Very friendly service. Call ahead since made to order quality takes time. Boujee Blu Burger has blue cheese and bacon. Even the 1/3 lb burger is very large.

2/5/25 Update. Sure could go for one of those burgers right now!

while the food is really good there’s been 3-4 times we’ve came in and they close 30-45min early. today we tried coming in as a 5 top and we were denied as they were closing early once again. it’s a bummer as food is good and workers are nice but we probably won’t be back here again as it’s time to find a burger joint that stays consistent.

EDIT: Owner, please don't' reduce the mushrooms, ever! I just meant we would prefer it to already to come with something to break up the texture like how classic burgers are better with the crunch of lettuce and tomatoes. Thanks for letting us know it's easy to modify. See you soon!

Made the mistake of going to Mountain Ridge Club up Hwy 26 and immediately made plans to stop at this place on our way out. This place looks like nothing and we passed it many times; surprise, it's delicious! It was so good, we got second ones when we left to reheat at home. Tried the mushroom sandwich for something different and it was great, but was a little bit too much all the same if that makes sense. It needed something more like produce or something. I'm sure you could pay more, but it'd be nice to have it already.

We didn’t get pictures . My daughter and I were on our way back home from Tahoe passing through. So glad I stopped here. I think it’s one of the most well seasoned best burgers I ever had! HUGE! Portions on fries were HUGE! The owner conversated with me was nice guy! You can tell they appreciate their customers! This will be our little stop on our way to Tahoe now!

We were on our way home from a hunting trip. The first place we saw in the mountains was pioneer burgers. From A to Z, as soon as we walked into the restaurant, we were great very pleasantly. We witnessed the young lady behind the counter hosting between working in the kitchen and the front desk. She kept a very positive attitude the whole time, considering how busy they were. The food was AWESOME! I ordered a cheese burger and French fries. The burger was huge, and the patty was big as well. You can tell the meat was fresh and it wasn't the frozen patties. Veggies in the burger were very from. One may assume he had a garden in the back. Lol. The French fries were plenty. You definitely aren't walking away hungry. The price was very fair. For 2, it was just over $30. This is definitely my go-to when I hit the hills. Again.

Good burgers, great fries, yummy shakes. Overall very happy. This well run establishment is very well maintained and cared for. Lots of hard work to turn that place around and it shows.

We really didn’t expect such great food and service here, but the folks that run this burger joint are no joke. Expect a short wait because everything is made-to-order by the chef and the menu is well curated. Our food was excellent and the “Fork and Knife” will satisfy the hungriest.
