Keiser University offers a variety of health occupations, including occupational therapy. I teach a 2 day course twice a year here. The staff and faculty are always up on the latest educational and academic research findings. The university is a secure place. The technology center and library are upon current technology.
Everything is wheel chair access including the wheel chair van access parking spots with close curb cuts with anti-slip surfaces. Classrooms are all wheel chair access. Restrooms are wheel chair access with 5ft x 5ft area, hands free except long lever faucets.

Where should I begin? I had gone to many schools within my journey of becoming a nurse and have to say that this school(with the exception of one individual) has exceeded my expectations. I found that many of the staff(with the exception of one individual) were very attentive of the students' willingness to learn. The clinical sites chosen for our rotations were top notch and all of the instructors(with the exception of one individual) really made the clinical experience seem like a flawless progression towards actual nursing. To anyone who is on the fence about which school to attend to pursue a nursing career, I highly suggest this one. HOWEVER, just as with all good things there will always be some bit of negativity. By any and all means stay clear of instructor Mena. Neither I or any of the others of my cohort have had a good experience with him. On one occasion I said "Hello" and acknowledged him by his first name in a setting outside of the classroom and was rudely reminded that I needed to call him professor. Keep in mind, he is not a professor, only an instructor. This happened on more than one occasion with him talking down to many of us who are even older than he is. Aside from this particular person, 10/10 for this school.

This school went by so fast, and I learned so much! The program was decent. Half of the clinical sites were exceptional, and half were somewhat slow. Every single staff member (with the exception of one) that was a part of my educational journey was great! They listened to us and talked with us one on one like a good mentor should. The professors were very approachable and down to earth! Director McNealy was AWESOME and funny! Professor Parker, Geyer, Schimper, Menager and every clinical professor was really nice 10/10 for them! The only one (eluded to earlier) was a guy named "instructor Will", this guy had an extreme power complex from day one! He made it known that if you commit any error regardless of how small by way of accident or honest ignorance, he would gladly attempt to get you removed from the program. He was abhorred unanimously by my cohort and reported by multiple students from multiple classes about his unprofessionalism. I hope he can stop acting hostile without cause in the future to other students. If new students can avoid him, you will do just fine at this school! Good luck!

Meet some really great teachers and had a great financial advisor. Just graduated with my masters there. The key to success is making sure to communicate with the teachers. Only downfall is finding own preceptors for clinicals.

I have a Bachelor degree in Education, and I decided to start another new career in Diagnostic Medical Sonography. I completed the prerequisites for this program and all of them with straight A in another college, but even with that keiser didn’t give me the opportunity to enroll in the program or being part of the waiting list. Keiser requieres a test of 50 questions in 12 minutes ?this test doesn’t measure student’s knowledge. Also, they told me the waiting list is in 2026, later in 2025, My admissions counselor told me I have two more opportunities to take the test but after I took it, she didn’t let me take again. Her final words were just go and study in a community college. Seriously? I have been in other colleges and universities that provide help to the students in many ways!! Not a good experience with this university.

Actuality love this school! Fits my life wonderfully! They offer one single class per month. For me I believe this is my saving Grace. Trying to raise kids, work and dodge life’s thrills! This school is amazing

Bad school, tried to do a transfer to another campus in Miami due to me losing the place where I was living in FTM and had to give up the whole career because they wanted me to restart the whole ASN from the beginning. Thank God I was on my first semester. What a waste of time, I lost my house trying to go to this awful school sacrificing work. Now I switched careers thanks to them. Also stay AWAY from the Richland loans they offer you, they will start charging you while you are in school and interests are very high.

I have been at Keiser for one term online only, after this term ends on October 21st I will transfer to another school. My experience started off great. They told me exactly what I wanted to hear from the beginning. The problem is with the teachers who teach the online classes. Some of the teachers would pile on a ton of work in the classes that are only 4 weeks long, which, is terrible if you're a parent and working adult. They advertise this school as a school for working adults to get an accelerated degree, but with this enormous amount of work you would have to stay up all night to complete or miss out on time with your family.

Grades are supposed to be done by Tuesday, but depending on the teachers you could get your grades on any day of the week. MY current professor seems to not read the work or emails being sent to her and responds with answers that have nothing to do with what was asked. Professors are supposed to get back to you within 24 hours, that also did not happen. When I attempted to talk to the school about it I was told that I have great grades and need to relax.

Honestly, for the money you're paying for this school I would suggest going somewhere else that would treat your concerns like they are important.

PLEASE READ‼️

Do NOT go to this college! They are way too expensive and make you take classes you don’t even need, while hiding the ones you actually do need until later — and then you have to pay out of pocket. They told me I’d be on the waitlist as soon as I started my prereqs, but that was a lie. After finishing all my classes with good grades, they suddenly said I need physics first, and the waitlist doesn’t even start until 2027 for a “two-year program.”

The admissions counselor ignored my texts, and my academic counselor barely checked in unless it was a generic message every couple of months. This school is misleading, unorganized, and a waste of money. Please save yourself the stress and look at other colleges!
