I can't believe that I didn't get pictures. I had one fish taco and one shrimp taco with double refried beans, I prefer them to rice. The corn shells were fabulous, the refried beans were excellent. I should have taken some home.
My order was suggested by the waiter, after asking him, which were better, the shrimp tacos or the fish tacos. He suggested I get one of each. I'm so glad I listened to him.
I also indulged in hot sauce from the kitchen. Smoking! Took it home.
An entirely pleasurable experience. The complimentary salsa was a little on the spicy side, Loved, it!!
This restaurant is definitely worth a try, and the service is excellent. Constant service without being obtrusive.

My wife and my self went to Jalepenos and waited for over 5 minutes and did not get seated on 8 April at 445pm. Two of the staff members observe us entering and continue to have their conversation instead of acknowledge and seating us at their restaurant.

I come here at least four times a week. The food is amazing always fresh and I love the new chips. Please do not get rid of the new chips. They are amazing. They’re so good so crunchy and very flavorful. This is my favorite restaurant.

Our waitress was friendly but she must’ve been new because she has to look at the menu for prices and the margarita wasn’t on the bill but was included in the total. The food was good! A lil greasy.

This is a hidden gem in Peoria! I've been looking for an amazing Mexican food joint for months and there are some great places but this is my favorite yet.

Huge portions, friendly fast service, you will pay a bit for their entrées but it is definitely worth it. Dishes full of flavor made the traditional way.

You will not be disappointed.

Clean and family friendly atmosphere!

The food is delicious and flavorful, emphasis seen on plating as well!
Also, great drink specials going on regularly!

This is your typical Mexican place with friendly staff and prompt service. The atmosphere will be even more inviting in the summer for anyone who wants a taste of a vibrant culture with lots to offer. Food was neither good or bad, only slightly different than expected.
