This is the spot you were looking for. The wines are world renowned winning Double Gold at Americas biggest wine competition. Raymond (owner/winemaker), Bobbi and Rya are the friendliest and fun people serving the wine. As a local for 40 years this is the best place to hang with locals and tourists alike. This place is amazing. Raymond is a great owner of this alley side tasting room. When we arrived, we went to the address and saw a boutique women's clothing store. Apparently, the tasting room is in the alley around the corner on the backside of the building. Wine is great. We will be coming back!

Hidden gem of a tasting room in the heart of Paso Robles

If you're walking on the sidewalks, you will miss this one unless you keep a sharp eye for signs pointing to it. This wineries tasting room is a small but cozy room with the entrance opening on a parking area. Next door to Jeffrey s Wine Country BBQ.

The counter service here is friendly and informative. Their tasting flight makes it really difficult to pick just one varietal. I bought five bottles, this being the only white wine. I never buy white wine or rosé. This one changed all that.

Their Rozanne Pinot Noir Rosé is the only white wine I will drink. I bought only one bottle of that to bring home and four others of their traditional Pinot Noirs that I tasted and really enjoyed! I will update this post once I open those bottles.

I have checked at another large chain here that sells wine and more. They don't carry it so it looks like a road trip is in order to restock on the Rosé. I might need to sign up for the wine club on this one. 😎. Ship it to me, please and thank you!

Indigené has an amazing assortment of varietal red wines that are fabulous. We particularly loved their Sangiovese and Pinot Noir. The small quaint tasting room is quite lovely and relaxing. Raymond (the owner) was a very gracious, and knowledgeable host. We are very proud to support this Black owned business.

Indigené is a must visit in Paso Robles! It is the one of two wineries I’ve ever been to where I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every single wine on the tasting menu. Raymond is an über talented winemaker and blend master, who often is there to greet you and walk you through his many different wines. His reds are big, complex, and oh so delicious. The tasting room itself is cozy with an urban flair, and the music adds to the chill, cool ambiance.
TL;DR: do not skip Indigené Cellars!

A great hidden gem in Paso Robles! Raymond is so friendly and knowledgeable. He makes quite a variety of wonderful wines that everyone is sure to find something they like. My husband had a great time “nerding out” with Raymond on the biochemistry intricacies of winemaking. The location is so cute and secluded. I definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the neighborhood!
