Good shopping experience both visits. The associates were helpful and actually found a hat that fit my head perfectly. I was very pleased I finally found “that hat”, and a bunch of other things for myself and as gifts.

IFA in Cortez is one of my favorite stores. The ladies at the register are so much fun as well as helpful. I have a lot more confidence in the advice I get from the staff in regard to feed and animal care than I've found at other feed stores in the area. The prices are often better, too. I love that while they've added some new staff members, the turnover is low, and I find the same familiar faces greeting me even after 8 years. A huge bonus for me is that they load all of my feed and big, bulk items. Other feed stores make you load all of thisec50 pound bags onto a car and wheel them to the register. IFA does all that for you. My only 2 complaints is that I wish they carried Triple Crown feed and groceries for humans, so I could do all of my shopping with the.

This is a great little all-around place. They have men's, women's and children's clothing and shoes. They have all types of pet food, fencing and corral panels, toys, outdoor cookware, grills, supplies to dry your own food. They also carry a nice selection of animal supplies for horses, cattle, dogs cats and chickens to include medications and supplements, saddles, tack, coops and even certain times of the year, you will find chicks, ducklings and turkeys. They have a plant nursery with outdoor yard decor, mowers, log splitters and check out their selection of battery powered yard equipment. Most anything needed for a rural lifestyle is here and much more!

I walked into this store location this last Saturday, and I know this sounds dorky, but I fell in love with the farming and ranching way of life all over again. I felt like I had walked into a niche of my childhood in the 80’s/90’s that was good and wholesome, full of hard work and a different way of life. I hope people don’t take experiences like this for granted.

The employees were super helpful and friendly. We had questions about pet ointments and asked an employee(I didn't get her name) and she took the initiative to ask questions, recommend the ointments, and how to apply it. We also asked another employee for a certain type of feed and he walked us over and loaded up our cart for us. The cashier was also pleasant to talk to.

A bit on the pricier side for me for a lot of their items like dog treats and toys and candles, but everyone is very friendly and nice and helpful. It's a great place to find all your animal care needs tho, and great quality brands
