Don't let the name fool you, these brothers have outstanding fermentation expertise and the cider is the best in the area. The barn slash tasting room has multiple rooms including a loft area where you can watch on movies on an ancient TV. Don't go here... we want to keep it all to ourselves.

These brothers may be idiots, but they sure know what they’re doing. The ciders are complex & delicious; there’s something for everyone in their cider selection. The atmosphere of the barn is so cozy with lots of space to have fun with others as well as plenty of little nooks for private conversation, and Rob and Richie are such welcoming hosts!!! Will be back a bunch, and I’m so happy I found them!!!

2 friends that traveled to Idiot Brothers just for their cider and BOY was it worth it! Funkhouse and the Harvest punch are my favorites! Such a charming barn space. We will definitely be back.

Amazing cider and landscape! This barn was built in 1840 and almost everything is original. There are many options on how to spend time at this cidery: tasting, dining, Airbnb, camping, sports such as volleyball and badminton, and more. The brothers who own the cidery are Rob and Richie; they have a funny story about why they named their cidery "Idiot brothers cider". This business is growing and I would come again. Looking forward to what's new as time goes on!

Wonderful place, great atmosphere and owners are super accommodating. The ciders were all excellent but ended up buying a bottle of the Gnarly Branch Rosé. Comfortable setting with seating both inside and out. Just outside of Trumansburg and easy to get to. Definitely recommend!

Delicious cider!! Exceeded my expectations, these guys are crafting some of the best cider in the Finger Lakes. Such a fun stop during my trip to Ithaca. Owners are super nice too.

We are two crazy chicks who built our entire epic camping trip from Kentucky/Ohio around our visit to the Idiot Brothers Cider house. Totally worth the trip! The Funkhouse and Gnarly Branch Rose ciders…amazing! We will be back! Cheers Richie and Rob!!!
