Visited with a friend for the first time recently -- not really knowing what to expect. We had such a fantastic experience! There is so much to see and learn and the store is truly lovely. We found everything we were hoping to find and more -- its like the store knew we were coming! We can't say enough great things about Ruby. She was ever-so-patient (we were there for hours!), informative, kind, funny and supportive. We can't wait to come back again and begin to explore the classes and discover more treasures.

Hoof & Horn is one of my favorite shops to go to when I need to be inspired spiritually or to see a friendly face. Ruby, the shop witch is so sweet and helpful. I've also taken a couple of her classes and she knows SO much about so many different things. I've bought books, candles, incense, and gifts from Hoof & Horn and have loved all of them. They also have the cutest deck overlooking the river that you can hang out on during events/socials. Love this shop and the staff! Highly recommend their products and classes.

Highly recommend this place!

The stock of metaphysical supplies is large and carries things that are hard to locate in other similar shops in the suburbs. The staff is amazing and is always willing to answer questions and offer help. They offer classes and events often and it is a must go if you are a witch or just interested in the occult in Aurora! Ruby is always so friendly and helpful and I love walking in and seeing her behind the register. Also, they have amazing articulated botanical displays and plants too!

This place is awesome, a really cool hidden gem in downtown Aurora. Cozy vibes and super friendly & down to earth staff.
The place always smells great, has a really cool assortment of all things witchy and spiritual, and even sometimes offers different classes and tarot readings!
I come by every few weeks just to hang. Highly recommend <3

I love this place and have been going here for years even before they moved locations, I come in here pretty frequently and always buy things when i come in. The other day i came in just to get some of their herbs. This is the first time i have ever bought any types of herbs here so i ask questions about where i take it to get packaged etc. I bring them up to the counter and she asks how much id like and i just ask for a little bit of each not knowing 1 ounce was the minimum amount you could get. She rolled her eyes at me and said an ounce was the smallest so i apologized and said that’s fine. After that she rolls her eyes again and holds the jar infront of me and points to it “this is why it says an ounce. read the jar. this is obviously the smallest amount if that’s what it says.” and walks stomped away to grab a container to put them in. As i continue checking out she just keeps saying things about how i should’ve known and it’s right on there…etc. for about 5-10 minutes as she was bagging my things and got to the point where she raised her voice. I was about to walk and and not give my business that day because of her attitude and the fact some of my family and friends who come here have had similar experiences with her( might i add her name is ruby). but i decided to spend well over $50 per usual because i do support hoof and horn and absolutely love the other employees i’ve interacted with here and love them, no bad reviews against the business itself it’s a beautiful place and worth the trip.

Added: I’m having issues with my email, no this isn’t a fake review and i’m very sorry that people are sending reviews about her over personal matters, definitely not justified. I just wanted to bring attention to the store. Thank you! This happened on Feb 21st After 12:00.

My favorite store and my favorite places to take classes and find community! Absolutely love the vibe, the people and the merchandise. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and so kind. Just took a tarot 101 class there the other day with Annie Hex and it was amazing! Really hoping for a 102 class in the future! 💛💛💛

Hidden gem!!! I first learned about the shop once they moved to Aurora and have been coming here a couple years. Every single time I go to the shop, I have an amazing experience. I always leave with new and exciting finds! Everytime I visit the shop it seems like I find that special something I was looking for that wasn’t there on my previous visit. On my recent visit I bought herbs for teas and I was super excited to find dried Heather, since that’s my name. Ruby was wonderful! She helped me pick out herbs based on my needs. She even labeled each type so I remembered what they were, and on one bag wrote Heather for Heather :). It was the cutest little surprise when I got home.

I highly recommend going into the store and also looking online at the class offerings and upcoming events. I think there’s a character limit here, but I can’t say enough good things about the shop. When in doubt, check it out. 😊

Usually this kind of place makes me feel nervous, like being the new guy around a bunch of pros. However, Hoof and Horn has some great folks that made me feel immediately welcome. Everybody who works here is fantastic and patient, and they've got a killer Playlist on all the time.
