We ate at the Hollywood Beach Cafe close to closing, but this restaurant didn’t disappoint. It is a great place for brunch, breakfast and lunch. Their food is very delicious and the service is great. The food is high quality and reasonable priced. Hollywood Beach cafe is a great place for a family meal and has that small town cafe atmosphere.

This is our go-to spot in Oxnard! We love it! The food and service never disappoints. Biscuits n gravy are so good, BUT get the gravy with the breakfast tacos. Amazing!
Hubby loves the hangover and corned beef hash. My kids obsess over the chicken n waffles!
We drive almost 2 hours to come eat here and chill at the beach afterwards.
Totally worth it!!!

The cafe rests where Mrs. Olson’s Coffee Hut stood for many years before moving closer to the intersection of Harbor and Channel Islands boulevards. Frank Saslow, who bought the building in 2006, runs the new cafe, which serves breakfast and lunch, either of which can be ordered anytime during the site’s 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. hours. So it’s possible to chow down on a cheeseburger at 7 a.m. or polish off a bowl of oatmeal just before 3 p.m., though I’m not sure how many people would choose to do either. But it’s always a good idea to be flexible when you’re the new business on the block.

Everything I’ve had here has been delicious. The French Toast is one of my favorites. The portions are big so you can definitely share if you don’t have a big appetite. The space is cozy and location is perfect to walk off your meal afterwards.

Delish! The reviews don't lie. Was looking for a spot for breakfast on a Saturday morning and saw the high reviews for Hollywood. So glad we trusted what we saw and came on over. I had the corn beef hash with two eggs and my buddy had the Loco Moco. The corn beef was cooked just right, seasoned well and tasted so good! Asked how the Loco Moco was...his only retort was that he wish he had more rice. Ha! Us island folk like our rice.

Quaint spot near the beach where you can get some steps in after you get your grub on. Contactless menu so be sure to come with your phone charged up.

I'd come back if I find myself back in town.

I was told by locals Hollywood Beach Cafe was one of the best places to have breakfast. They were right. The best service and the food was delicious. Reasonably priced and large portions. I ordered the Hangover breakfast with sourdough bread, eggs over easy and coffee. The meal was huge and spicy, which I really enjoyed. The coffee was good and better than average. I highly recommend that you try this restaurant. It is an hidden gem in Oxnard California. I will definitely return to try something else for breakfast or lunch.

So glad we passed up breakfast at our hotel. This was so much better. The service was great. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The food was served hot and freshly prepared. Everyone was happy with their meal. Makes me hungry posting this.

Quaint local restaurant with a very nice selection of food. Food was excellent and attentive service. Don't be fooled by the unassuming looks on the outside. One of the best breakfasts our group had traveling. Great local appeal.
