First time in... we absolutely enjoyed this location! Bright and inviting. Food comes reasonably quick. Pork chops are tender and well seasoned! Portions were great. Brussels sprouts are steamed, not roasted, so just be aware. BBQ sauce needs some work.. their hot barely touches on spicy. Service was friendly and efficient. We'll definitely be back for more.

I hate to say that I was very disappointed in Hog Wild. I had heard great things and they did a wonderful job with the interior, but the food did not live up to expectations. We ordered a pulled pork sandwich, BBQ chicken sandwich, and a full slab of ribs which was $60. First of all, they drench everything in sauce so the pulled pork was so soggy. Aside from the chicken sandwich which was so tough and dry I was gnawing on the meat. It had no flavor whatsoever. The ribs were also drenched in sauce and really fatty. The pics are before and after our meal. Another point was that the sides were nothing special. Everything seemed like it comes frozen and really had no flavor (corn, fries, potatoes, and Brussel sprouts). I was surprised also that a BBQ restaurant did not have Mac and cheese as an option. I am really sad to write this review because I know it’s a new business, but I hope they will take this as constructive criticism. I’d think that the items we got would be standard for a BBQ joint, so if they were so average then I don’t know what that says for the other items. We’re now out $60 which is a huge bummer.

Hog Wild is one of my favorite restaurants, and the New Lenox location does not disappoint! I got the pork chop, and it was perfectly grilled. Red potatoes and green beans were also great sides. The kids' chicken fingers is an adult-sized portion and 8-year-old approved. Ribeye steak sandwich was also delicious. Even the fries are great. Service was very friendly and quick. Will be back soon to work through the rest of the awesome menu 😊

We were passing through the town and wanted a quick bite to eat. This place came up and we can honestly say we were blown away on how good the food was. We had no expectations since we never heard of this place. I ordered the prime rib sandwich and we got a few appetizers and the food came out fast and was delicious. The mushrooms in my sandwich were amazing! My husband got the rib tips and he was just as satisfied. We come out this area couple times a year and this spot will be a location that we must stop when we are in town.

I couldn't wait till Hog Wild finally opened up to the public. My food was delish! 🤤 Definately not complaining. Y'all get the half slab of ribs + shrimp! I took half of it home. Big portions. Well worth it! Will be back.

I dined here twice in the last couple of months. The atmosphere is good but the food could be improved. The first go around I had the beef brisket which was more like sliced deli meat which was odd and was on the bland side. The sides (macaroni & cheese and cole slaw) were also just ok. The second time I ordered the pork chop sandwich. The piece of pork was thick, tender and had good flavor but it's just served on 2 pieces of plain bread. No sauce, lettuce/tomato, etc. I ended up just eating the pork by itself since it was lacking as an actual sandwich. Served with crinkle fries, which some might enjoy but it would be nice to see seasoned fries, tater tots or some other side option included vs an upcharge for the other side options on the menu. There's potential but it won't be my go to. Last, on my second visit, the gentlemen behind the bar was very attentive but the woman didn't seem to pay any attention to who needed service.
