This is my third visit to New York, and without a doubt, this is the BEST hotel I’ve stayed in. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the heart of Times Square.||First off, the moment you walk in, you're greeted by very friendly doormen who quickly recognised us every time we walk past and then by the beautiful smell of the lobby, which we couldn’t help but compliment every time we passed through. The lobby leads up to the Sky Lobby, which immediately gives you a sense of safety and security. We arrived at check-in around 1pm, and although our room was ready, they offered early check-in for a $50 fee or we could wait until 4pm. After a long international flight, we decided to pay the $50 to get into the room early.||The check-in process was smooth—we showed our passports to confirm the booking and were asked for a $100 per night incidental hold fee. We were charged $500 on the card as a holding fee. The receptionist also explained that we'd be charged hotel tax ($35+tax), but we would receive a $35 daily credit to use in the hotel (this doesn’t roll over to the next day). It’s easy to use at places like the bar or Long Acre Market, which is located on the same floor as the lobby. This is easily used as we found the market to be really expensive, e.g $5.50 for a bottle of Coke/Fanta. ||We stayed on the 33rd floor, room 3318, and the views were just amazing. To the right, you can see Times Square, to the left, the Hudson River, and below, you get a great view of 42nd Street. The room itself was incredibly spacious and clean, with everything we needed—iron, hairdryer, safe, and more. The only minor downside was that our room was adjoining the room next door, but if that's the only issue in a five-night stay, they’re definitely doing something right.||Every single staff member we interacted with was friendly and welcoming, and we appreciated the chats with them.||Checking out was just as easy as checking in. We got the balance refunded from the $500 deposit, and after five days of hotel fees and taxes, I received $256 back on my card within two days. Our flight wasn’t until later in the evening, so we paid $5 each to have our luggage stored with the doormen for the day.||As for the location—wow, we were literally in the center of everything. The subway line is right outside the hotel’s front door, making it easy to get anywhere (uptown, downtown, or even Brooklyn). Times Square is just five minutes away, and other landmarks like Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Bryant Park, the NY Public Library, and the Empire State Building are all within a short walk.||I can’t wait to be back and will definitely be choosing this hotel again for my next stay!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Hilton Times Square. The location is great. Great proximity to a lot of attractions. The staff very polite, as well. The doorman, Mike, gave us exceptional service. He went over and beyond to help out with getting our car from the parking garage. I would highly recommend staying at this location.

First time in NY and stayed here. Great location and access to Times Square, subway and PABT. We picked this one for it's location.
Staff was very nice, helpful and respectful. From the front desk, bartender, house keeping and bell desk. Truly great.
The room was a little underwhelming for the price. Very good size but had an older feel and frankly...smell. The bathroom looked like it need to be cleaned better as it had pink mold around the shower drain. Carpet was older and had...that smell to it causing it to be in the whole room.
But, we did enjoy the stay as we really didn't spend a ton of time in the room other than to unwind and sleep. I've stayed at a few Hiltons and this one, aesthetic, cleanliness and room wise, was below others I've stayed at.

Over the years, we've stayed at seven different hotels in the Times Square area and this is by far our favorite! We've returned to it now several times. Fantastic staff, very friendly. The rooms are the largest of all the hotels we tried -- the double queens and the king rooms. Lobby is newly redesigned a couple of years ago and is spacious and comfortable. The bar staff is great. The late night cheeseburger from the bar was probably one of the best I've ever had (large, perfectly cooked, perfect cheese, perfect bread, crispy lettuce and tomato). The view is fantastic on either side, though the Empire State Building side is better. Rooms are quiet and very clean. The location, in my opinion, is the best one if you're there to see shows. It's a super close walk to the shows and restaurants so it's convenient to stop to refresh between matinee and evening show, but not right up on top of the noise of Times Square.

"I've been traveling throughout my career, and Hilton hotels have always been my go-to choice. The Hilton in New York City stands out as a true gem. The views are absolutely breathtaking, capturing the vibrant essence of the city. The customer service is impeccable—every staff member goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and valued.

The rooms are spacious, stylish, and comfortable, providing a perfect environment whether you're visiting for fun or work events. The hotel's atmosphere effortlessly combines professionalism with relaxation, making it ideal for business meetings or unwinding after a busy day. I wholeheartedly recommend this Hilton to anyone seeking a top-tier hotel experience in NYC!"

A truly great quick stay at Hilton Times Square. First, you can't beat the location. Even more than that, the staff was incredible. Check in staff was amazing and even had some great lunch recommendations in the area! Had a 10/10 cocktail before going out that evening with exceptional service. Ended my stay with an incredible buffet where the food was hot and tasty. Not to be missed!!

My husband came to NYC for a work trip and his work booked this hotel for him. I joined him for a mini vacation over the weekend and had a great experience here. Room was very clean and bigger than we were expecting. Housekeeping did a great job refreshing our room every day. We found the front desk helpful, especially when we wanted to try the subway for the first time to get to the Statue of Liberty. The location was amazing and very walkable to everything we wanted to see. The market was definitely pricey ($20 for two coffees seemed a bit extreme) but I suppose you are paying for the convenience. I would definitely stay here again! Since his work paid for the room I cannot comment on the room prices though. Speaking strictly on the location, cleanliness and comfort this was a 5/5 experience for sure.

I am sitting here at the hotel waiting to check out and all I can think about is what a terrible disappointment this place is to the Hilton Brand. As a Diamond member who has stayed at countless Hilton properties this is the only property that has ever disappointed me. I paid $500 to stay here. When I tried to check in an hour early the front desk told me they had rooms available but it would cost an extra $100 to check in before 4pm. I earned that they will store your bags free on arrival day but charge you $50 to store them on check out day. My two queen bed room had two towels. I requested two additional towels at 9pm and then again at 11pm. The towels never showed up. I requested the towels the next day at 8:30am and they didn’t arrive by 9:00am so I went and hunted down house keeping. I found towels and showered. My ordered towels finally showed up at 9:48am. I would not see value in this hotel at $100 a night. It is a huge ripoff at $500. Internet is not free to Hilton Honors guests and the elevators take 10 minutes each way to get up and down. Avoid this property at all costs. The Hilton Garden Inn Times Square is a far better Hotel. Before posting this review, I decided to call the front desk and speak with a manager. The phone goes straight to a busy signal after listening to hold music for a few minutes.
