This was one of the best places I have been in a long time. We stayed at the KOA in a cabin that was really nice. TV, stove, shower, a fold out bed and two other beds, small fridge, grill, fire pit, sand box on the side of the cabin, right on Canada creek, I mean it was laid out, across the street was the diamond mines, you an rent tools but we brought ours and you can take as many rocks as you can carry. These rocks were everywhere just walking you can find small ones on the ground. Do a little digging and you can find them in the rock. If you leave there without any, you had a blind fold on. They are everywhere, it was the most fun I had in a very long time. Everyone is so nice and helpful and kind. It some work I will have to say, but it was good especially when you find a diamond. I just can say enough about this place. It says do I recommend buying tickets, what I mean reserve your lodging first, then when you get there you buy what you need. Its open from Early April until the first of November everyday.

It was our first time and we had so much fun. It was just my husband and I. We met some very friendly people who had been there before, and they happily shared tips and tricks. Having access to tools was very helpful. Next time, we will bring a few extra items, like a bucket, a newer chisel, gloves, and a paint brush. Definitely need to wear sturdy shoes.
Christopher was very helpful with understanding the value of the stones.
We will be back again!

Amazing
Amazingly stunning place to be spending much time here with your whole family and children, especially you. You can look for rocks all around the area and find them. They are beautifully. Stunning rockstar deserve to be found by special people. All people. Kids will have fun, fun time, searching for rocks anywhere in the area and exploring the landscape for the future.

Loved the KOA cabin, we spent the night, Enjoyed the whole experience, lots to see, and buy, fun for kids, plan to spend the whole day, it's a lot of work.

Like the drive from NYC. The place is fun fun. Go and have great experience. 1/ Dog friendly 2/ Pet not recommended in mine. Paw could get burn. 3/ Burger was soooo good. GEE.. SO GOOD.

Went as a group with part my sons boyscout troop. It was a lot of fun, and the kids and I loved it. We found a few diamonds and lots of other fun finds. The only recommendation i would say is its in an open area so be prepared with sunscreen, water, and a umbrella maybe for some shade for breaks or there are areas to hang in shade up back near store. By afternoon i was roasting in the mine area and needed a shade break. Also you may want to bring a chisel and a hammer to save some cash! You can rent Hammers.
Overall highly recommended and I will be back!

Pretty cool place, they provide you with tools and safety gear (that you pay for) or you can bring your own. If you come on a hot day you can get dehydrated very quickly out there, so make sure you have water with you! They do sell food and drinks although it’s over-priced. Overall a cool experience and a fun activity to do with your family.
