I didn't know what to expect signing up for a membership without trying the wine first. We just received our first shipment today and couldn't wait to open a bottle for my wife and I to try. I couldn't say more in how good the 2022 Proprietor Reserve Chardonnay is, I can't wait to share with friends and family.

Absolutely wonderful tasting experience and outstanding wines. I was visiting with an antique car club. Hearst Ranch provides great wine tasting, good story telling, and a friendly beautiful atmosphere. I bought two excellent bottles, Petite Verdot and Petite Sirah. Top notch. May become a member.

Loved this tasting room! Great wines, some of which I have seen on the store shelves in the past but never tried. Especially enjoyed the Chardonnay and the Three Sisters Cuvee. Many thanks to Dale, who was pouring the wines, for being so knowledgeable and fun!

I would give no stars if I could. Very disappointed by the wine and service and overall would say this was a terrible wine tasting experience. We were rushed to sit down, provided no tour and poured very small tastings of mediocre wine with an incorrect old menu and no walkthrough or explanation of the wines we were trying. The menu was replaced with the correct version 3/4s the way through and both menus stated that a wine tasting charge (overpriced at $28) would be waived with every two bottles of wine purchased. They did not honor this when checking out with the excuse that we were a large party and added a 20% service charge, which was ridiculous given the “service” provided. Complete rip off - please try a different winery.

I just had a lovely experience at Hearst Ranch Vineyard! My husband and I stopped in with our dogs to taste. The winery is in a beautiful country setting surrounded by vineyards and basil fields. Our fur kids were welcomed and enjoyed walking around the grounds. Their Covid protocols felt very safe and the outdoor patio was shady and comfortable. Excellent wines!! And I can’t say enough about Amy who helped us out. She is a somn and so knowledgeable about the wines and just a generally lovely person. Highly recommend stopping here!
