This place has the vibe of a restaurant in UP Michigan or the Wisconsin North Woods. It’s loaded up with regulars at breakfast, including that ever present table of 70-something’s. I find it very comforting. Not fancy, not pretentious, only down to earth nice people. Portions are big but not wasteful big. Servers are fast with the coffee warm up’s and a smile.

Harner's has made great breakfast for and desserts for many years. It is still an older style family restaurant that reminds me of my childhood.

Their donuts and pies are heavy because they are filled with goodness. 😋 They are very filling.

The whole staff was assisting on Fat Tuesday. They were friendly and did a great job serving the non-stop people coming to get paczkis. They were so good!

The breakfast food was a little disappointing. They need to work on the basics! There was 5 of us and every ones eggs we're overdone. Eggs should not be crispy and brown? The only eggs thelat was done correctly was the eggs on the Eggs Benedict. The only thing that was great was the piece of Pecan Coffee Cake. The cook needs to learn how to cook eggs and the toast. The bakery it definitely their strong suit!!

After all these raving reviews I had high expectations and was excited to try out this cute spot for breakfast. Let's just say we won't be coming back. The service we had was terrible and the food was the okayest. You can ask for modifications to your food (like switching out a certain type of cheese or asking for something to be well done) but the cooks don't pay attention to the notes the server gives them, and then the server doesn't verify that the dishes were made properly. Our server also ignored us, but was checking up on everyone around us when we were done and needed the receipt that I had to ask one of the hostess for help with getting our server to visit our table. The best part was the view by the window, but the booths don't even comfortably fit 2 people on one side, like you can't open both menus at the same time kind of closeness. If you decide to come, I'd recommend lowering your expectations.

My mom’s friend recommended this place to her, so my brother took her for the first time, to treat her to donuts. They had a special, where donuts were half off after 2pm. He didn’t notice the sign right away, and began to pick out different flavors. Once he finished picking them, and BEFORE he paid, he noticed the sign. He looked at his watch, and realized it was 1:59pm. He said to the woman who was helping him “oh nice! I just noticed they’re half off after two, and it’s about to be two.” She responded “no, it’s too late, you already picked them.” At first he thought she was joking. She was not joking.

Have gone here for years. It seems like take out orders always have missing items or ingredients. Today—Ordered 3 beef dinners to go. Asked for extra gravy. Didn’t get any. 1 had a tablespoon of gravy, and the last had some broth on it. Called the restaurant, and they didn’t really care. Didn’t try to resolve the situation. Will probably not go back.

The food here is consistently good and the service is quick. Fantastic cheeseburger which always hits my table hot and juicy and I love the bakery bun. The broiled grouper sandwich is delicious…I wish they had a grouper dinner. Their soup is homemade.

The atmosphere is a bit outdated and could use some refreshing. In the winter I love to sit by the windows and watch the birds but the feeders are empty this year ☹️ (everything going up I guess). Prices are in line with everyone else and they offer a discount for cash.
