One of my favorite places to visit in June. Went with my nephew this year to pick strawberries at Hand Melon Farm. We left with over $100 worth of berries and I look forward to remembering this special day we shared as I pull those delicious berries from the freezer this winter. Their strawberries and other produce are delicious. Picking your own can be a meditative experience and knowing you are going to share with loved ones later in the year makes this even more special. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the price is very reasonable. Don't forget to grab some biscuits from the stand on the way out and treat yourself to strawberry shortcake when you get home. I highly recommend a visit or two or yearly to Hand Melon Farms.

What a gem of a place! Thelma was very kind, welcoming, and helpful. I was on a search for some delicata squash and found not just the squash, but many other items as well. I will definitely be back.

Did you know Hand Melon is famous and shipped to many exclusive restaurants. Hand Melon is fragrant, sweet and quite large...not your usual cantelope! A delicacy found in Washington County NY. Route 29 across from the Washington County Fairgrounds. They also have a darling gift shop, pies.., and other produce. Also visit the charming town of Greenwich with its beautiful homes. This is a lovely afternoon trip close to Saratoga and not far from Glens Falls or the Capitol District.

We go there every year to get their hand melons. Delicious and the smell is unbelievable. It will fill the car and your house when you bring it home. The staff was friendly and explained when the best time to eat the melons. It's a cute market with nice little selection of cheeses, and other local foods. They also had some really nice gift items. A must stop.

I couldn't be more pleased with the way I was treated and helped when I was picking out tomatoes today. The owner was the woman who helped me, and she was so pleasant and nice. It's great to see hometown people treating each other with the utmost respect. Tomatoes are great too by the way. I'll be back again

Great berries. Been here several times for pick-your-own strawberries and blueberries with no complaints! Prices are very fair and the berries are delicious. You can pay with cash or take your berry receipt to the store and pay with your card.

Got 3 quarts of delicious blueberries yesterday for about $15. It's $3.50/lb for blueberries, $3.25/lb for late-season strawberries and $4.25/lb for raspberries.

Wonderful store and reasonable prices. Driving past on the way home we bought farm apples, strawberries, blueberries, sheep's cheese, beautiful tomatoes, corn, and of course fragrant melons, also grabbed local soups and pastries. We are very pleased.
