My family of 7 had a wonderful experience! We learned so much about Alpacas and got to feed them and pet them! Definitely a highlight of our trip to Salida and one my children will cherish for years to come. We got little Alpaca souvenirs made from real alpaca fur to take back home to Texas! Peggy and her husband were so kind and knowledgeable they have a true passion for what they do, and it shows!

My husband and I had a great time with the alpacas and their owners! Such knowledgeable and kind people. They also have a very gorgeous sweet dog, as well as some wonderful alpaca products. I do highly recommend!

Really amazing experience for our entire family. The owners were very accommodating for our toddler. They even called the alpacas over so that he could give them treats. Their Great Pyrenees were a bit jealous of all of the attention given to the alpacas, but were super gentle nonetheless. Highly recommended! Call ahead and enjoy your visit!!

What a wonderful experience! Nelson was so patient and kind with our very energetic and inquisitive 4 year old. He took my phone while we fed the alpacas so we could just enjoy ourselves while he captured the moment. He then gave a lot of info to us and our kid about alpacas, then ended it with giving us stickers and my son a bunch of coloring sheets with alpacas. You can tell they are so passionate about the community and just enjoying their little ranch. It was such a fun time! Definitely make a trip to do this while in Salida, it’s a 5 minute drive from town.

What a wonderful place! We took my daughter and her three small children and had the best time. Peggy and Nelson are wonderful hosts - engaging, fun and informative. And the alpaca are beautiful, docile and friendly. Highly recommended

Took our family of 5 (ranging in age from 10 months to 7 years old) and we had the BEST morning feeding the alpacas and petting Roxy (the pup)! We loved buying all the alpaca gear in their gift shop too… by far we got some of our favorite souvenirs there! ♥️
