Cool town tucked away in coastal Alaska. Couple of short drives to various hikes and scenery. A little pricey due to it's location but you can find a deal here and there.

Public Library for Wifi, went on a cruise and was taking an online class and had a test one last test to finish and the date was a port day, So I took my laptop with me and made my way to the Public Library and in the back they had tables set up for like a community center. I completed my test using their wifi. The Public Library was very quiet and nice and left them a few dollars for a well supported wifi system that allowed me a connection for taking a final exam of a class even though it was FREE. Although it was alittle slow but there were five or six other people there on their laptop as well, but I was happy to have a stable connection for taking such a test.

They are nice enough to let public use wifi, so if on a cruise and have been out of touch they let dont mind a bit. They had a book sale the day I was there too and found quite a few for my kids!

This is a first class, beautiful library. The staff is helpful and friendly and it is a very welcoming environment.
It's amazing that a town of this size has such a high calibre library!
