Please be aware of their fish department. They initially charged me DOUBLE the price per LB. The cost of the fish was $1.99. When they weighed it, it showed $1.99 a LB at the scale but once you get the actual item, it showed at $3.99 a LB on the sticker. I went back immediately and told them it was $1.99 a LB. They said they made a mistake. He reweighed it again and this time they changed the price per LB to the correct price but instead they added to the weight of the item by over 30%. Mind you this was clean fish now that weighted 30% more than uncleaned fish. Initially at $3.99 a LB the price was $8.39 which means this purchase was 2.10 LB uncleaned. BUT look how they magically added the extra weight to the clean fish which weighted a lot more to make up for it once again. Please be aware of their dishonesty and tactics to screw you, either way.
Update: Next day, I saw same exact fish in Jmart in little neck which is few blocks to the west for $1.49 a LB.

Very clean store conveniently located within the Hmart Plaza where they sell other household goods and fresh food options. They do change stock in Hmart but they are organized and workers are nice. Sometimes they have samples as well. Prices are decent overall although sometimes the produce can be on the pricier side - I usually stick with what is on sale. Frozen bun selection can be limited but maybe due to how large their freezer spaces are. Dry goods have a good assortment, especially sauces and typical ingredients for Asian cuisine. Butcher area is very clean as well. They also open later than some other grocery stores in the area. I highly recommend. Plenty of parking.

Lot of variety and decent prices. Always clean and well organized. Good mix of American produce and Asian products. Aisles are easy to decipher and it's a pretty small space but it packs a lot. No pry if your kids go to another aisle they will easily find you again. The quality is good for the meat. This is a good place.

I bought pork single rib belly 6mm this afternoon, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon opening the packaging, I found that while the first layer seemed promising, the deeper I delved, the more disappointed I became. The second layer was predominantly fat, leaving me with a fraction of the meat I had anticipated.

After trimming away the excessive fat, I weighed it because it was too much. The fat amounted to a third of the weight stated on the packaging. This discrepancy between advertised and actual product content is unacceptable and left me feeling misled and dissatisfied with my purchase.

Overall, my experience with this product from the store was disappointing, and I would caution others to be wary of similar inconsistencies.

I got mussels today.. I haven't check the date. this was 3 weeks ago mussels... I know that it's my fault that I didn't check the date. However, fish market? I never check the date... all bad mussels. I just spent $3.99 for nothing. now I have to think what I have to cook. Great. Never go there

I said it before and I'll say it again that there's no place like H mart. The quality of the product and the helpful staff make shopping there Wonderful. If only I could click my heels together and be delivered to H mart when needed

Compared with others, it is more expensive. There is no need to waste time. Any Chinese supermarket is neat and clean, except for this one, which depends on the expiration dates of the specialty products.

A little expensive but good quality food and fresh fish at the grocery store and lots of products in their home store. Lots of fun and cute items as well in their shop across the street
