Cheap place to shop, checkers are friendly and efficient. Was rudely accused by a non checker staff as though I was stealing the basket. Because I took the basket outside the market to my car to unload. I had to quickly dump the grocery on the outside top of the trunk to qual his fury. Such humiliation because I am a senior and must be poor to shop at the cheap outlet and hence must also be a suspect thief to steal the basket. I will never shop there again.

Grocery Outlet, my beloved - this place is an absolute lifesaver. They offer insanely discounted goods that are still of great quality. Despite the affordability, they never sacrifice customer service. The staff and cashiers are always very friendly every time I visit!

And nearly all at a fraction of what you pay at other retailers.. I’ve also never seen anything with a bad expiration date! - maybe that’s me being lucky

The store is generally clean, I’m normally in there early mornings, it seems quiet at this time and the staff are super friendly and chatty at the checkouts ?

Re Covid I’ve never seen employees without masks, and I love that they have a sign just inside the door reminding people if they’re sick, stay home (:
