I have passed by this location many times but then decided to stop and go inside to see all of the products that are sold there. There are an impressive amount of food products sold there. The vegetable area looked very fresh and there are a fair amount of dry goods stocked there. There is also a nice section of fresh meats and prepared foods. The products at this location are quite expensive compared to a regular grocery store. I did come across a male employee on the sales floor that was friendly and said hello to me. When I approached the checkout area to pay for my purchase, the female cashier was on her cell phone but did not immediately acknowledge me. It appeared I interrupted her conversation. She eventually put the phone down and did smile and ring up my transaction but she rushed through it and then went back to her conversation on her phone. It was not an overwhelming experience and I haven't decided if I will return.

I’ve been stopping here for years because it’s on my way to work but I don’t think I will continue to patronize them. The cashiers are always extremely unfriendly and always seem annoyed that you’re there. Half of the time I’ll say hi and they don’t even say anything back which is completely unacceptable. I get that we all have bad days from time to time but I don’t think it’s asking too much that you attempt to be somewhat friendly to people who support your store. You’ve now lost a customer who’s been going to your establishment for years.

I love this place. Produce is always in great shape and well priced. The cashiers are always helpful but were standoffish when I first started going. Good for asian ingredients also mostly Korean and Japanese though. Kim Chi here is surprisingly good.

Found a flavor I have been searching for for years -( no one bakes and sells Date Nut bread loaves ). I found Date nut filled cookies, a very close taste, in bakery fresh packaging, They are delicious... definitely going back for more packages of 8 ($9.19).
Produce prices were sky- high- head of iceberg lettuce was $5.99! So I only got a few tomatoes and onions and will need to go elsewheres for all of my other current produce needs.
2/13/23 Tried their Deli counter- Fresh turkey breast with swiss and a cuke and onion side salad were both delicious. Only 1 associate made the wait long and kinda pricey but location was convenient to my work. Thank you.

Excellent produce and a great selection of Asian, Hispanic and other international foods and ingredients that are very hard to find in this area. Very clean and well stocked. Very polite and helpful employees as well.
Support your local small businesses, they need you more than ever.

The store was clean and organized and had all of the basics you need from a grocer. The interior is a bit dated and the lighting could be improved, but completely functional as a grocery store.

I would actually prefer to give them zero stars.
Better watch the cashiers like a hawk, they weigh the scale down to over charge you. I've busted them more than once trying to rip me off.
The quality of their produce has taken such a steep decline that there are tons of fruit fly gnats and disgustingly molding fruits and veggies.
Too bad, GP had always been our go to spot.
Much better off going to Walter Stewart's in NC. They really take pride in their product.

Ten years ago this place had the best produce for the best prices. Nowadays they have the best prices, but half the time the fruit is borderline or already bad. I recently bought two pounds of white peaches that looked beautiful on the outside, but literally every single one was brown on the inside... almost like they had been frozen. I just bought strawberries, blackberries, raspberries and granny smiths to make Birchermuesli, which is a traditional Swiss breakfast dish. After spending an hour cutting strawberries, grating apples, zesting lemons, and putting all of my ingredients into a bowl, I poured in half-and-half that I bought here today, only to realize too late that the half-and-half has just started to go bad. I checked the sell-by date, and it doesn't expire for another three days, which means that it was poorly refrigerated. Unsurprising, since the refrigerators at this place look ancient. It's still edible, but it's definitely got a palpable funk. I'm going to eat it anyway, because I just spent 45 minutes and wasted $45 of ingredients on a big bowl of muesli, but I'm pretty mad about it. For the next three days my family be eating my slightly putrid muesli and hating Greenwich Produce.
