I visited at around 8 pm tonight (Wednesday night). The long-haired cashier spent half the time speaking in Arabic to the deliman. He is an extremely rude individual who tried to pressure me into giving tips to the deliman for the sandwich I ordered. The Deliman, alternatively, was the far wiser and polite of the two, insisting I didn't have to tip, but thanking me for my generosity anyway (after I obliged with a dollar added onto my order total). Usually, I don't tip on the first visit in order to assess the quality of the meal, the manners of the staff, and other factors. The rude cashier has insured that I won't be tipping or visiting again in the future, whereas I might have been a new long-term customer. The man is sabotaging your business. Cya!

I had been here before for a sandwich after visiting the brewery down the block, so I stopped by again the other night to grab two chopped cheeses and two sodas. There was only one person working since the deli guy had called out sick. Ordering was a bit challenging—when I spoke to him, he responded in Arabic, but at least he understood what I wanted.

While making my sandwiches, he took two other orders, which made the wait nearly 25 minutes. I didn’t see the total when paying since he kept the card screen to himself, but when I checked my statement later, I saw he had charged me $30 for the two sandwiches and sodas. To top it off, the sandwich was trash. Definitely not worth the price or the wait

Great bodega + deli - had great sandwiches from here and they were nice. Stocked up with tons of beverages and snacks. The Cuban was actually surprisingly delicious.

Horrible service! When I walked in there was a line of people ready to check out, two guys stood talking and one of the eating a sandwich. When someone said “hello” they continued to ignore the clients ready to pay, then proceeded to walk away. Maybe they needed something in the back- fine- but communicate when you have a line of people.

The curly server at the till tried to rip me off. Bought a 1.5L bottle of water, he charged 5 dollars manually instead of scanning the barcode, while saying something to his colleagues in his language, mentioning the name of the water. Probably he said “now I am gonna sell the water to the tourist for 5 dollars”. I’ve paid and left. After one minute I went back asking to double check the price and the guy told me I could change my bottle with the bigger one… at the till he scanned the barcode and the 3L bottle was $3.50. He gave me back $1.50. I am a tourist, yes, but I know the value of money and I am also Italian and I have lived in London for 7 years, so think twice before trying to scam people again, you never know who is in front of you. Reading the reviews this is not the first time and this kind of attitude is not good for your business.

THEY ACCEPTED A STOLEN CREDIT CARD NUMBER, WITHOUT ASKING FOR THE CARD & ALLOWED ABOUT 300 BUCKS TO BE FRAUDULENTLY CHARGED!

After a long day of work and the sun sets down I go to my favorite deli in Green point which won’t be anymore after the absolute humiliation I’ve dealt with today. I asked the young kid with curly head if they have cool mint airbars and he kept questioning me like multiple times mind you I don’t have an accent and im patriotic person and love my country. I pointed to him what I wanted and asked him how much I owe and he charged me more then the other guy charges. I asked him how much is everything and he started giving me attitude and when he realized he was wrong he gave me my change back in a lousy manner. This upsets me because this has always been my store for a while and the fact that I dealt with this today makes me want to find a new store maybe one with no young curly headed kids.
