This place has severely gone downhill under new ownership. It used to be a joy shopping here. Shelves are empty. The organic/natural products have declined soooo much. The amount of times I walk in and out empty handed is sad. I used to spend hundreds of dollars here every week. Iโ€™m heartbroken.

Green Bay Market Place has the most making hot and cold food buffet , better food than most Restaurants!
I crave it and love it and the variety changes daily !
Itโ€™s very fresh and the only buffet I will ever eat from because itโ€™s so fresh each day !
The grocery items are great selection and the staff is friendly and helpful!

They carry high quality brand products but I've noticed multiple packages of "fresh" raw lamb that was anything but fresh. The raw lamb meat was brown.

Quality in every product here has decreased dramatically as of late. All of the produce is rotten/disgusting and overpriced. The only reason to come here previously was due to the nicer groceries items but they now on par with gross stores like Farm Country Supermarket.

RAW ALL NATURAL UNPASTURIZED
FRESH SQUEED -Pineapple, ginger, beet, apple Juice. All this juices is not real natural, they add a lot of sugar and it is not from the fruit. They should be honest and write the amount of sugar. Donโ€™t buy any juices 7.99, go to the fresh real juices around. Very disappoint from this market.

This place is definitely pricey, but the quality is good for what you are getting. It's filled with organic brands and food you can tell is fresh. The smells make you want to buy everything and the hot bar is terrific!

I have to say, this market located on Broadway in Astoria has more organic, gluten free, and specialty items including tons or hard and soft cheeses, than anywhere else I have shopped. They are open later than most markets of the same type (I shopped last night at 2am and was able to purchase an organic, non GMO, non GMO, vegetarian fed, HOT rotisserie chicken) and it was freggin good and juicy.
I shop there all the time and yes some things cost a few cents more than other stores, BUT, think about this; the other stores close at 9pm, and Manhattan is far and paying a few cents extra for a guarantee of freshness, convenience, and location is worth it in my book. Just saying...
PS. No one gets a five star rating unless I am blown off my feet or given a bar of solid gold. Four stars is the highest i go.
