I've been a customer for many years and have spent thousands of dollars with GAS. The quality is usually great. I've had one or two small issues that were resolved satisfactory. Recently I ate a couple of the Austrian Wagyu Steaks.normally these are amazing however this time they weren't eatable. I have to discard them !! I informed them of the issue however the resolution was totally unacceptable. This used to be a nice family business that valued its customers. It seems that it's now run by business school grads that only want to squeeze its customers and employees,. One of their best employees departed last year !! That was the beginning of the decline. Front line employees can no longer deal with customer concerns and need to consult the back office for anything abnormal. Hopefully the real ownership will read this review and take it to heart. I hate to see a good company fail because it's loosing touch with its best customers.

Another great order from this company. 3lbs. King Crab Colossal in pieces and 2 lbs. U 8-10 Super Big Scallops. I prefer the pieces to the whole leg, as I am not cooking for anyone except family. They are easier to fit in the pot, I use a vegetable steamer for small snack and I have a pot that steams for larger. Scallops are huge and they aren't even the biggest I can get.

I ordered 20lbs of shrimp from this company. I assumed the shrimp was from Alaska since their name is Great Alaska Seafood. I looked all over their website and it didn't say anything about the origin of the shrimp. I just asked and it's from another country in the South Pacific. Extremely disappointed with this deception. I could get a better deal from Costco. Be careful.

I've tried 4 online salmon companies in the last 2 years and this was hands down the worst. I've never gotten bad fish from an online dealer before so I ordered $500+ worth THAT WAS A HUGE MISTAKE. Every piece I've opened so far has been worse than our local grocery store which in North Dakota is pretty bad. I've had to throw away 2 out of 6 pieces so far because of rotten meat. And they won't even respond to my attempts to reach them. This is the only online vendor I would never order from again! Will be reaching out to the BBB.

Decided to give this company a try, I order every year from another Alaskan seafood company. While my order arrived very fast and packed really well... i was not impressed with the products. NONE have packing dates or even a recommended use by date. These could be 10 yrs old for all I know. The halibut cheek package had a small hole which is fine since everything was frozen solid when it arrived. The quality of the products are not worth the prices IMO.
I live in central GA, so my review is based on a frozen shipped order.

Been ordering from them for years. Several hundred dollars at a time. Product has always been good. No complaints. But prices have crept up and i just cant purchase it like I used too. Now I'm resigned to shopping for fish at Sam's. Lord help me.

Great Fish! As usual, my fish came solidly frozen (from Soldotna to Marquette, MI). The halibut, crab cakes and shrimp are excellent.

An Incredible New Years Eve dinner thanks to Tim and the crew from Great Alaska Seafood ! To give you an idea of the size of the Lobster Tails they are 32oz and the Fillet Mignons are 12oz . Totally pleased with the purchase ! Thanks to all !
