We visited for breakfast and found a charming restaurant with a diverse menu catering to different tastes. Both the food and service were excellent, and the staff were very friendly. One suggestion for improvement would be to include pictures of the dishes on the menu, as we weren't familiar with some items and had to Google them. We ordered the egg pomodoro and the salsiccia pizza, and both the prices and portions were great.

This was one of the best Italian experiences I've ever had! The food was delicious, and was fresh and hot. We had special requests and a little trouble, but the staff was very helpful and we figured it recommend. While quite pricey, was very wonderful. Very recommended: risotto al pomodoro with steak. Highly recomend.

Our first dining experience here. Food was abundant, delicious and reasonably priced! Our server was friendly, efficient and graceful but was definitely overworked. As I watched her, she had a lot of tables to service and was doing the best she could do. No complaints except ownership needs to employ more servers for the Saturday dinner hour. We will come back!

I’m a Chef who just moved to Dana Point with my family. I just stopped into Giana’s this morning. I went crazy! I bought fresh handmade bucatini pasta, homemade bolognese sauce, incredible light cinnamon buns w/a delicious mascarpone frosting, insane brown butter chocolate chip cookies finished with Maldon salt, a bottle of truffle olive oil & probably the best Italian focaccia sandwich I’ve had in a long time!! Plus I had such a nice conversation with Sochi who got all my orders ready to go, she’s lovely! Bella Bella Giana’s & much continued success! I may just move in!!! Caoi!! ❤️?❤️

Seriously amazing food!! I’m definitely a foodie and have been disappointed by a lot of restaurants in Dana Point, until I found Gianas! Tons of flavor and very fresh, with a beautiful presentation!! Highly recommend!

Update: I’ve eaten breakfast here almost every morning. It’s that good! And the people who work here are absolutely amazing!
