George’s updated our landscaping in October 2022. We spent $3,000. The photos showing the centerpiece of our landscaping is our front tree. The photos are one year apart. The tree is obviously dead. George’s would not do much at all and gaslighted me. First they said we had too much rain, but I live off of Sand Creek Road and my soil is sandy loam. When it was planted they told me it cannot be overwatered. I babied that tree because we loved it. All our other plantings survived.

Ironically, or maybe not, my in-laws had the same exact tree planted by George’s a year before they planted ours, which is why we selected our tree. George’s did replace theirs for free. I’m pretty sure they won’t for me because I gave them a bad initial review because they were horrible to initially deal with prior to plantings.

Our tree had an issue when it was initially planted. It leaned and I think it was because they didn’t plant it correctly. They sent a guy to straighten it out, but I’m not sure if the initial planting was just done wrong. Whatever the reason, the tree is dead, and it’s George’s fault.

Other issues include doing a messy job installing sod and locating some plantings in a weird arrangement. The crew that did the work seemed to be rushing and didn’t seem like they cared about what they were doing.

I’m going to have to replace this in the Spring and when I do I definitely would not be going back to George’s.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND GEORGE’S because:
1. The office does not return multiple phone calls.
2. They get very upset if they are not given a five star review and keep pushing to get a better review.
3. They are expensive.
4. They do not stand behind their products.
5. If there’s a problem they don’t want to hear it and will say anything to sidestep it.
6. Their planting crew is not friendly and does not seem to care.

I get my mums every year and all my fall outside decor from George’s. They are always there to help with any questions and the service is always above and beyond! The mom and daughter are always so nice to chat with too! Thanks for the invite to the fall fest! We will be there !!

Surprised of the condition and presentation of this garden center and greenhouse. Several dried out and wilted plants in the retail area. Some cool products but randomly placed. Lots of inventory but doesn't appear to be moving well. Great nursery stock. Not sure how to pick products given not really a show/retail place. Odd entrance seems more like a back access. If you know you want, you'll probably find it but no inspiration.

Ordered a cherry pie for a birthday dinner. PERFECTION. The crust was perfectly buttery and delicate and the filling was REAL. So yummy thank you!

I bought 2 bowling ball arborvitae in May 2022 for $69.99 each. Planted them at the same time as other plants. By July 2022, they seemed to be dying. I hoped they would come back, but they didn’t. I reached out today because I thought there was a 1 yr warranty on the plants, but I was told I needed to come in to talk to George and that he’s in and out, so I could come in but basically couldn’t guarantee when he would be in. I’ll take my business somewhere that stands by their products in the future.

I had a poor experience with this business. Purchased arbor vitae twice and installed - first time died due insufficient water despite other varieties doing well, second time due deer. Owner gave partial refund first time but not second - huge waste of time and money - tree variety low quality in this case.

Have been renting equipment from here the past week. No issues at all. Equipment is in near new condition. Prices are unbeatable. Very professional employees.
