Excellent new brewery!!!

Geisthaus knocks it out of the park on all fronts. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The beers were delicious, very well crafted and executed. The local food open was reasonably priced, fast, and tasty.

Absolutely delicious, unique beers that stand out in a sea of breweries that seem to only want to highlight hoppy beers. The space is inviting, yet almost too big. The service is attentive and helps you focus on the beer as an art. The beer is getting back to the traditional roots of it all, lagers, and elevating them in a California setting. I will definitely be back.

Lager brewery with outstanding, clean examples of classic German styles. Welcoming staff, food truck outside, dog friendly, open bierhaus seating—what more could you ask for? Worth the trip if you’re into clean, classic beers. The Helles is particularly excellent, but you really can’t miss. Go here and drink beer.

Ok, so you're not going to find 20 varieties of IPA's, alongside a handful of stouts, sours, hard seltzers and pizzas. But what you will find, are excellent examples of the very foundations of what we drink and enjoy today.

Specializing in German and Czech traditional brewing they bring a new taste to our neighborhood.
The space is wonderfully remodeled with tons of seating inside and out. Friendly and knowledgeable staff ready and willing to answer all your questions. Dog friendly as well. Drop in and see for yourself!

10 out of 10 would recommend! I had heard they just opened and decided to try it for a good after work beer spot. The line was long, but moved really quickly. I went with the German pilsner. It brought me back to Berlin eating dried meats and cheeses for breakfast and crushing crispies along the Spree in the afternoon. Delicious beer! The tastiest beer I’ve had in the Sacramento area in a really long time. I just had the one there but was happy they had everything in cans and picked out a mixed 4 pack to take home. I am looking forward to going back and trying everything else.
The location is great and the facility was super clean. It was busy inside and I sat outside. It was nice that they do have food available through vendors and that they are kids and dogs friendly.

Loved the hazy we had, definitely want to come back and try the rest of the beers. Also, I appreciate that although they do not have food they have a partnership with the Italian restaurant next door and food trucks. The lighting inside was a bit harsh though, maybe some warmer, lower fixed lighting might make the evening atmosphere more welcoming.
