I bought 3 yards of “Kick” soil for my raised beds this spring. I had never bought bulk soil before. I was so excited. Well, unfortunately, the soil is almost useless. It’s like cement. If I buy a lot of better mixes to add to it, it might be OK. But that seems like such a waste of money. Next year I will go back to buying individual bags, but not Full Circle

I purchased one yard of "kick" from Renner equipment Co in Smith Valley. I am very disappointed with what I received. It is very heavy, literally blocks the water with a layer of clay that builds up when you first water. I have to poke holes in the clay to get the water to the bottom half of my fabric pots. The main ingredient seems to be , sand, clay, small pea gravel and woodchips. I see no sign of peat moss etc. For the best top soil they produce you would expect some lightening ingredient like perlite instead of small pea gravel/sand.

My first experience with Full Circle came secondhand from a buddy of mine who swears by their products. He grows the single largest fruit, flower, and vegetable garden I have ever seen and has used Farmer Craig's personal expertise and phenomenal products for over 6 years now(still using some amended 6 year old dirt to this day with magnificent results). He lives over 2 hours away and does not bat an eye when he has to drive up to see Farmer Craig for more soil or to analyze and strategize soil tests, methods, and ideas to keep improving(Both Craig and Cody are a wealth of knowledge and absolutely love helping people wishing to grow BIG). When I planted my first fruit and vegetable garden last year, I couldn't believe the growth.. we harvested well over 500 lbs of tomatoes off of 10 plants(we only grew 4 this year after truly not being able to deal with such massive production), we were harvesting 10lbs of sierra nevada chilenos peppers EVERY 7 DAYS! As well as pounds of strawberries, beautiful watermelons and cantaloupes, onions, potatoes, HUGE squash, zucchini, and cucumbers, and absolutely gorgeous sweet corn and sunflowers. They recommend Punching your plants with wormwine every 2 weeks and I did it once and literally could not keep doing it; there was no way to control the growth, it truly does get out of hand. I tell everybody I know who asks how i grow such a massive garden that there are only three things you have to do; Go buy Full Circle Soil, stick your plants in it, and WATER. There is nothing more to it. Craig and Cody put all of the love they have into creating the highest quality soil within 500 miles of Gardnerville and it shows itself in the exponential growth your garden WILL produce. I'd give them ten stars if it would let me. Simply THE BEST.

Can't believe how well my garden is doing after an application of some Nevada compost from Full Circle Soils and Compost. My, my, my.

I've used other composts in the past and had mediocre results, if any. I was skeptical about compost, so I went with local Nevada compost and WHAT A DIFFERENCE. I'd estimate a 45% gain in production in my plants (and that's being conservative).
