This is an incredible gem nestled in Columbia. The staff is amazing, wonderful with kids, and generous in their knowledge. We can’t wait to adopt this as a regular place to volunteer and give back as a family in the years to come.

Great place to go late in the day when the sun isn't blaring. You can reserve a private tent with butler service for couple hours. Resembles the beer farm only a bit bigger, does have picnic tables, overall good place to spend a day

This was my second time visiting Freetown Farm. The people are pleasant and welcoming. I broadcasted a live demo for a salad event on the premises. The George Washington Carver community supported agriculture garden is extremely beautiful. Search Naijha Speaks on YouTube to watch it.

Freetown Farm has a wonderful program for homeschooled children called Roots and Wings. It is a wonderful program that allows children to learn through interacting with nature and the environment - they do gardening, play in the woods, help raise chickens and turtles, art projects, etc. It is a wonderful environment for kids and I highly recommend it!!

We volunteered here when they first obtained the land, and now we bring our kids for their Roots & Wings program. The staff is warm and friendly, and we're lucky to have such a great resource for the kids.

Spent part of Saturday working at the garden doing various tasks. Beautiful site at which to enjoy nature and see how it's being expanded, beautified, organized and beneficial to all Howard County residents and beyond. Stop by for a visit and offer your labor to improve it some more!
