Fredo’s Vegan Tacos are a not-so-hidden gem on Highway 1 in Moss Landing. Literally the cheapest ($3!!) and most delicious street tacos you’ll find within short range of Monterey. Don’t let the vegan recipes scare you - these tacos are top notch with great flavor and texture! I will definitely be stopping again the next time I’m driving between Monterey and Santa Cruz!

It was absolutely delicious! Five different options of vegan tacos for $3 each. Each one has its own unique flavor. The team inside the food truck is awesome and super friendly. No place to sit and eat… But it’s so great to have a food truck between Moss Landing and Castroville. You can call in advance, or order on demand. They are pretty quick. I would have never known it was vegan. Full of flavor. Just delicious!

These are the best vegan tacos in the area! Delicious! Love the food truck, love the atmosphere, and the people who run it are friendly. My friend is a vegan chef who travels quite a bit. When he visits us, we make sure to hit up Fredo's Food Truck at least a few times before he returns home. Good prices and short wait. I love the recyclable take out boxes as well. Thank you! WOW. Best vegan tacos on the central coast. Do not drive past this place without trying it. $3 a taco, I got 2 of each flavor just to try thinking we'd only like a couple flavors. They are all 🔥🔥🔥.

Carne asada has a great texture and Al Pastor was the perfect flavor with a thinly sliced pineapple. We'll be back!

Incredible vegan tacos at Fredo’s Vegan Tacos food truck off Highway 1 in Castroville. There were several delicious options - our favorites were the Al pastor, asada, oyster mushroom, and green chorizo! Each option has a different seasoning and marinade and really matches the traditional street taco taste of Mexico City. They also have two tasty salsa options, one more spicy and one less spicy, but both are delicious. I hope Fredo’s becomes a wild success and spreads up and down the coast of California.

I only wish I had taken photos of the food but we all scarfed it down too quickly to get a good picture. We will be back 10/10.

This is a cute little food truck in a convenient location with plenty of parking to get off the highway. The tacos were high quality, tasty, and made quickly. I highly recommend you stop here for a convenient and filling bite to eat whether you are vegan or not. We are not, but loved the rich taste of the food!
