Frasca Food and Wine, located in Boulder, Colorado, offers an exceptional and distinctive Italian dining experience. On a snowy evening, the restaurant’s warm and inviting atmosphere, coupled with its attentive and knowledgeable staff, made for a memorable meal.

The prix fixe dinner began with outstanding bread and butter, a perfect complement to the flavorful trout appetizer. The two pasta courses were authentically prepared, with impeccable seasoning and depth of flavor. The scallop entrée stood out as one of the best I have ever had—expertly cooked and beautifully balanced. The meal concluded with a light and enjoyable dessert, providing a refreshing contrast to the richness of the preceding courses.

Overall, Frasca Food and Wine delivered an outstanding dining experience, marked by exceptional food, thoughtful service, and a welcoming ambiance.

Outstanding dishes which are truly innovative and authentic. Beautiful atmosphere suitable for special occasions.

Service was good and people are very friendly and attentive, but out of four dishes, two dishes were served to wrong person (it was two of us). Everything was fantastic except for the tea after meal. If you are English tea drinkers, I wouldn’t recommend their Earl Grey. Maybe it’s just me, but it wasn’t a black tea at all.

The moment you are greeted by the hostess you feel welcomed. The staff are knowledgeable and you can tell they are working hard for you to have an exceptional experience. My two guest were first timers and I have dragged to restaurants around the nation. At the end of the meal, they informed me that they have had great food and experiences at other places, but here the food, atmosphere, staff and the overall experience was amazing and Frasca is now their #1 restaurant .

Amazing dinner! Every detail was perfect and the food was incredible. Best mocktails that actually taste like a cocktail and not a juice. Dessert was more interesting than yummy but still a 5/5 will be back! Thanks for a great night!

Wonderful meal and even better than I remembered it to be. Service was finely polished. The dining room was comfortable with perfect lighting. The food was delicious. Wines delicious. Cocktails delicious. More like a Michelin 2 instead of the current 1 star. So good.

Here’s the thing. Yes… the food is incredible. The wine pairing with our tasting menu was a once in a lifetime experience. But the best thing of all about this restaurant is the people there, their passion and steadfast commitment to quality, authenticity and integrity in creating once in a lifetime experiences through food.

There is no question that Frasca is the best restaurant in Boulder, but when you are the best and you keep your foot on the gas pedal towards culinary excellence year after year? Frasca has seeded world renown culinary talent that now work all over the world. We as a community should be proud and grateful that they are here in Boulder, representing in culinary form the stubborn, quirky and defiantly passionate zeal that defines what Boulder stands for.

Cheers to Frasca 🥂

After much anticipation surrounding Michelin’s arrival in Colorado, my husband and I were cautiously optimistic. Many of the restaurants we’ve tried since the awards began here have been underwhelming, but Frasca Food & Wine exceeded every expectation and then some.

We dined last night and chose the Quattro Piatti Menu, which was flawless from start to finish. Every dish was an elegant expression of technique and flavor, with each ingredient perfectly prepared and thoughtfully paired. The Capesante, or Scallops, were a standout, their delicate sweetness and buttery texture elevated by nuanced accompaniments. The Tagliolini di Selvaggina, topped with the optional white truffle, was nothing short of sublime—silky, aromatic, and indulgent. The Quaglia, perfectly cooked quail, showcased impeccable skill and balance, while the dessert, Fichi, with its marriage of huckleberry and fig, was both vibrant, coconutty and comforting. The Mais, with its unexpected matcha and corn combination, came close behind as a creative and delightful surprise.

The atmosphere was equally remarkable, striking the perfect balance between elegance and warmth. Sergei, the general manager, graciously greeted us and set a welcoming tone, while Edison and Jesse, our servers, delivered impeccable service with genuine care and professionalism. Every element of the evening—from the timing of the courses to the thoughtful hospitality—was seamless.

As avid travelers who have visited over 30 Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, we can confidently say that Frasca Food & Wine has earned its place among them. After five years of searching, we’ve finally found our favorite restaurant in Colorado. Frasca is a shining example of culinary excellence and hospitality, and it fully deserves the recognition it has received.

Service patrons were phenomenal, wine collection were admirable the bar were pleasant but the food part ended with unpleasant note when we asked to substitute pork meat we got mushroom not cooked and moisture part was breaking the taste. Was feeling heavy to pay 700+ for these, rest give it a try
