My parents owned The Avenue Bake Shop on 31st & Laramie.
I still remember Frank and George coming to get the orders from my father. I can’t remember if it was Frank or George that used to give me a Kennedy half dollar every time I saw them. They were both such nice guys. I’m going back into the early 60’s. Till this day, I still remember them.
