I have shopped here on/off for a very long time, many years.
I do feel like since 2020 the prices have increased impressively high.

For my family, it's just not worth coming here to buy fresh produce. We will make a trip to Aldi in Bessemer or Publix in McCalla. I don't feel like they have enough fresh meat options. I also wish they carried more plant-based options as well. I think it would be beneficial if the store tried reorganizing for a change and remodeled just a little bit.

I don't think I've ever had any bad experiences here. Something that might be appreciated by a large amount of people in the community would be to move the "employee smoking section and tables" to somewhere behind the building out of the parking lot entirely. I have people in my life who smoke and I used to be a smoker myself, but I just think it would be better for business, including the businesses nearby that share the same parking lot with you.

All employees are helpful and considerate. I am elderly and when I need help they are there and very courteous at all times. The store is very clean and well stocked.

really wish i could put less than 1 star. this place is absolutely gut wrenching disgusting and needs to be pressure washed inside and out. or either have hazmat unit come in and absolutely cover the entire place in sanitizing materials. the tall brown hair manager was absolutely the rudest person i’ve ever seen ever speak to an employee. with her being younger it has to be the whole authority card ordeal. very unprofessional and plain rude. like i said in the beginning. i wish i could put less than one star because it is 110% deserving of it. groceries were good. just management and cleanliness. lord please help this store. or don’t. it’s probably for the best.

First Time Shopping ? in this Foodland location. There Meat case was well stocked with Fresh, Affordable, Priced Meat.
Produce dept. Fresh veggies was great.
Good selection of freezer foods.
Cashier was super friendly. Very pleasant young lady. If I am able to move in this area, this would be my go to buy meat/ groceries . Love how everyone was polite,
Nice music playing not too ? loud not nothing sad. Enjoyable while you ? shopped. My sister sang all threw the store. Also they have public ? restroom.
Definitely see why I'm Foodland customer where I lived in Hazel Green, Alabama.
