Food is delicious & the juices are thirsty quenching! I highly recommend FoodAMed especially during these times where processed foods are chemical based instead of natural. If your looking for tasty and healthy yummy for your tummy meals you've got to check out FoodAMed! Hands down highly recommended!

Both my husband and I loved eating and enjoying the environment of the restaurant. I enjoyed ,( Veggie soup to start , enchiladas and sweet potato fries with avocado guacamole).
My husband had ( Lentil veg soup, stuffed shells and shared the sweet potato fries with avocado guacamole ).
It felt like I have never tasted veggies before today. Today I felt like I actually ate and enjoyed a great lovely meal.
It was refreshing the culinary genius that came out of the kitchen.
I am so glad my awesome neighbor suggested this restaurant to my husband and I.

The Philly cheesesteak is a 10 out of 10.
It was my first time trying FoodAMed and my first time ever tasting a vegan Philly cheesesteak. It was so good, I was literally humming as I ate.

"What’s so good?" they asked.
"Your food? Let me taste."

I was happy to share a piece. And then came the reaction:
"Ohhh, this is GOOD!"

Suddenly, the whole room wanted to try. I only had a third of my own sandwich. The rest was taste testing for all. Each one who had a piece was calling another.
"OMG, try this. You won't believe how good it is."
EVERYONE AGREED, IT WAS THAT GOOD.

That day taught me a valuable lesson:
Always buy a second sandwich to share with the family.

From now on, I’ll either finish mine in peace... or save some leftovers.
And believe it or not, this warmed up, toasted sandwich is even better 🤤
There is just so much goodness in every bite.

All you gotta do is try it.
But get your own. 😅

You don't need to be vegan to enjoy the food ❤️ the environment was inviting, Danna was very warm and friendly, and the food was delicious. My wife had the coconut curry and I had the enchiladas and to drink was the cucumber ginger which was so refreshing. It's not your typical tasting food but that was expected and definitely delicious. We will be back to this wonderful place

The first time came at this vegan restaurant on May 22, 2024 enjoying my food I don’t have to ask to modify to vegan! Adding more photos from the second time coming here to get food here and out. I do like this place, will be back whenever go to McAllen again. Another time, different food, the same happy results! 😊 Adding more photos from new visit, enjoying another menu options.

Oh. My. God. I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere is stunning, the food is impeccable, the staff is friendly and accommodating, and their mission is not only admirable but EXTREMELY necessary! They are doing great work!

To start, I shared a bowl of Mac and cheese with the table and it was a 10/10. Best Mac and cheese I’ve had as a vegan hands down, and the portion size is extremely generous. We all inhaled it, hence the picture!

The juices were really delicious. Everything we had was tasty, although I personally recommend the watermelon mint!

Now for the entrees: I don’t think you can go wrong with any. I had the Philly cheese steak and although it was a bit salty, it was very yummy. I like that everything comes with a salad and that the sweet potato fries are baked and not fried! My friend loved her noodles with tofu. The teriyaki tofu sandwich needed sauce and Carmen, our wonderful waitress, accommodated immediately. She was truly amazing and I loved talking with her!!!

Definitely come here, they believe in holistic health and healing through nutrition. They also know the importance of their presence in the most obese city in the country. Thank you so much Foodamed, can’t wait to come back for dessert 💛

The food was delicious, and the people there were so nice. The atmosphere was very relaxing and was suitable for a person to have a meal by themselves.
The person, I assume is the manager, was really nice. I really love their mission to help others achieve a healthy life style. I would definitely recommend eating here and speaking with the manager if you get the chance. I'll certainly be back the next time I'm in town.

Update:
Visited again last week, and I'm happy yo see that the quality and service is still amazing. I wish my town had this restaurant!

I tried their lunch meal, and it was so good! I've sampled different vegan foods, and Foodamed is definitely the best. They have incredibly tasty desserts, and their natural fruit drinks are top-notch—they taste amazing and are super healthy (the recipes are personally made by a doctor). If you're on the lookout for a delicious vegan spot, Foodamed is the place to go!
