Excellent customer service got my parts to me in 4 days. Knowing that I needed them since a explained we hadn't had power in days. Dawn is an amazing person helped with all my questions and answer them promptly. She is the reason I will continue to purchase firman generators. I have the ho7553 and I had that thing running for 6 days with little rest in between days. Runs like a champ ? I can't wait to get a bigger one from FIRMAN

Im going away this long weekend and bought a brand new generator 7 days ago to prepare myself at RONA. I was specifically told by a employee that this generator would power my trailer.. I tested it and it is not strong enough with the AC on. I went back to return it and they told me they could not return it and I have to call firman.. I did so. It was impossible to hear the gentleman as the phones are terrible and so much back noise.. we also had a language barrier.. aftet 20 minutes on the phone, they told me I cannot return it. It is still in the box in the bag brand new only a week old but used for a few hours. If I was told a product would work and it doesn't that is not my fault!! Super frustrating and would NOT recommend this product.

Our electricity went out at 11:30pm last night. I bought a new firman trifuel generator this morning and we were back up and running without our pipes freezing or our food going bad. Firman saved the day, our food, and our plumbing! Still no grid power, but we still have a warm and well lit home.

Had a great experience with Pape Fall in customer support. Was already an advocate with their products. I have a tri fuel generator that I love - solid & reliable but now I am also an advocate for their customer support. Pape was extremely helpful and patient with all of my inquiries and resolved my issue. Besides product quality, customer support a large part of brand loyalty!! I want to give a great big Shout out to Abigail Martinez-Technical Support Specialist over at Firman. My experience has been excellent with the support provided with my Generator WH03242 which I purchased as a refurbished unit sold on eBay thru Firman in November of 2024. Believe or not I haven’t even started the unit and Abigail assured me not to worry that if I have any issues she will notate it that the unit will be tested this weekend on Saturday day before Mother’s Day 2024. From my experience so far I have nothing but praise for Firman as a company they really stand behind their product and their staff is bar none with knowledge top of the industry as far as support, also it’s nice to speak to someone onshore in the good ole U. S. A. I appreciate that their staff is still here in America. So have no doubt in pulling the trigger on your purchase on a Refurbished Unit on eBay, it also comes with a 2 year warranty covered by SquareTrade which is run by AllState at $524.29 out the door delivered it’s a steal for this quality of a Generator. Can’t wait to get it up and running.

FAULTY PARTS, POOR BUILD QUALITY, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

My brand new Firman generator was assembled incorrectly but I did not discover this until I tested it before winter, when it also became apparent that the automatic voltage regulator and/or the VFO modules were faulty - which means the generator did not output any power.
Firman sent me replacement parts and instructions for how I disassemble the unit and fit them, however, they chose to use the cheapest shipping method available which means I had to wait 2 weeks for them to arrive. Meanwhile, we had a power outage that lasted a little over 12 hours and I was unable to use my new Firman generator to keep my fridge/freezer running - this was precisely why I invested in a generator in the first place!

When the parts did eventually arrive they did not match, the instructions were incomplete and/or inaccurate and I decided that enough is enough, I returned the generator to the point-of-sale and purchased a different generator from a more reliable brand.
My experience of Firman customer service is that it is breathtakingly lacking.

I left a review on the Firman website but it was never published by Firman, unsurprising since it was a 1 star review and I suspect they pick and choose what to publish. So make sure you visit the Better Business Bureau so you can see for yourself what they say about Firman.
Firman are rated as F (the lowest letter grade rating on the BBB scale).
The generator that we decided would replace our faulty Firman was made by a company rated as A+ (the highest letter grade rating on the BBB scale).

Avoid this company, consider other options.
