Hands down the best school in PUSD. Chinese immersion is the future. That doesn't make it any less American. Most of the students come in as non Chinese speakers and a very large group of the students aren't even ethnically Chinese. Had a few principle changes in the last few years and during COVID, this school did so well. There are always problems with all schools but now Ms. Tucker is a principle that listens to all parents. They FINALLY celebrate Asian American Heritage month. If you want your student to succeed in PUSD (which really isn't a great school district), this is the best school to go to.

I went to this elementary school from kinder to 6th grade. I am now 28 years old, and I will say that I had some of the best memories at this school growing up. From the teachers, faculty, and even other staff members like the sweet cafeteria women, who would pay for my lunch sometimes when my parents weren’t able to pay for it. I was just talking to my sisters about this school , and really wanted to not only leave a positive review, but an honest one because field really deserves it.

This school is a Mandarin Immersion school. The program is amazing and is one of the many success stories of the turnaround in Pasadena Public Schools. If you want your children to be challenged and have a great head start in life with a second language, take a tour!

this school has an incredible leader, Ria Apodaca. she has been principal for about 10 years and she does an amazing job of managing the parents so that they are heard and allowed to provide input and she has managed to implement a top-notch dual-language immersion program with decreasing funding every year. I wouldn't send my kids anywhere else and I could choose any school in Pasadena or Temple City.

I go to that school,it is amazing! I am in 3rd grade now math to me is the best!We also have gardening classes when we are in fourth grade we will have swimming classes.
