I have banked with them for years and they've only gotten progressively worse. Now, as of March 13th, 2021, they join the deceptive ranks of Chase and Wells Fargo in refusing to processing much-needed stimulus payments. It's been discovered there is no reason whatsoever for it, that it's entirely a self-serving approach for them. I refuse to deal with this. After they finally decide to hand over my money they've hidden from me from day 1, I will be leaving this backwater institution for a much better one. It's sad because the customer service at the Bryant location and online are great. I do not blame them. I blame those in charge of all decisions for the institution and will see to it they are not permitted to hide holding food from people who risk becoming homeless, entire families starving, bills behind, you name it. This is not ethical in the least. And do not hand me check dates. Everyone else I know has already received their stimulus and had no problem using it from the very beginning.
Edit: Since the institution wishes to be dishonest about ACH payments, heed this. They are not "required" to honor those. Instead, they choose to go by them. They are only required to follow the ACH info if HQ determines they need to. A result is they generate more money on the float and charging customers to pay back on any overdraft fees.
