Just went in today the prices are 20% higher than Rockland Kosher, and quality is not as good

2 years ago, I would definitely give a 5 star.
The reason being is that they raised their prices on fruits and vegetables with 70% across the board
For example, parsnip $3.49 elsewhere is 1.99, turnip 1.99 elsewhere. 99... im not sure why they think they are whole foods It's definitely not a community grocery experience.. try shopping at Rockland Kosher. much better prices on everyday healthy items.. maybe on chocolate and junk they are more expensive. But you can survive without it
Check it out yourself. You'll be shocked...

Here's an update on the meat department.

And best of all, the steaks are brown crapp pieces

Be careful with your passover shopping. Evergreen will buy from companies large quantities after passover for 10 cents on the dollar and sell it the following year.. this can be with matzos.. chocolate. Potato starch. Etc.

Store is big nice clean and simple.
Meat may still have problems but they normally help
The Fish is awful and I'd never give them another chance
Bakery is better now
Flowers beautiful but pricey

The only star I can gave is that it's clean.
Can't find a Jewish guy with whom to speak. they put out food without a הכשר. Prices are high the atmosphere is not for a kosher supermarket.

I recently noticed a charge to my cc on every purchase I do at the grocery for some kind of organization, I went over to the customer service and asked them to remove it from my account since I didn't authorize this charge, the man at the customer service refused to help me about it and just said this has nothing with us , you have to call the organization, can someone explain me how can they allow a charge to my cc when I give it to them for a random organization? Zero customer service

Delivery is highly unreliable - they cancel or tell you the items you requested are out of stock at the last minute, leaving you completely in the lurch. While my experience with the quality of the products they sell is good I would never ever recommend them for delivery.

I recently visited Evergreen Market in Monsey, NY, and I have to say, I was quite disappointed. While the store has a nice selection of products, I found their prices to be on the higher side. For the quality of the items, I expected more value for my money.

The real letdown, however, was the bakery. I’ve tried several baked goods from there, including challah, babka, and rugelach, and unfortunately, they all had a similar issue: they were doughy in the middle. It felt like they were undercooked, which really detracted from the overall experience. I was hoping for that perfect balance of texture and flavor, but instead, I ended up with dense, unappetizing treats.

Overall, I can't recommend Evergreen Market based on my experience. With their high prices and disappointing bakery offerings, I think there are better options out there for both groceries and baked goods. Save your money and look elsewhere!

I would give this store 5 stars- for the amazing selection, and some really delicious pre-made food. I recommend going when it isn't crazy busy. Only downside is you really have to watch the checkout to make sure you are not overcharged and items are double scanned. Perhaps do self checkout.
