My wife and I found this place on a road trip through the Southwest. Both pork and chicken tamales were fantastic. We can't wait to go back. They were some of the best we've had in the state and the region.

Great spices available. Only tiendita in cortez. This place has a selection of meats. Also variety of items off a menu to eat. Variety of groceries available. Beer is sold here as well as other non alcoholic drinks. Great customer service. Thank you! Definitely returning.

The chicken tamales are delicious. The flour tortillas are so buttery and delicious. They have a lot of local products. It's the only place in town that sells Tapatío. I haven't found any at other stores. They sell a variety of salsas, drinks, candies. They have a little restaurant, but we haven't eaten there yet (only the tamales). Very friendly staff.

A little gem in Cortez, Colorado! Our town is inundated with Mexican food. We wanted a grab and go burrito before we headed out on our road trip. Esmeraldas was on our route and we tried it. Not only is it a sweet grocery store, they offer counter service with homemade food! The menu is small but it's all right in front of you and our burritos were delicious!!! Try this spot out!
