All the staff was super nice and very informative. Very pleasant leisurely cruise. Learned a lot about the canal system and the history.

Getting tickets was easy. The cruise was for 90 minutes and left on time. The information was very interesting. The " captain" was friendly, informative and funny. Well worth the trip. Good for all ages!

Great trip through the lock. The captain told jokes and told us how the locks work. He also gave us the history of the Erie canal.Canal. There is a gift shop too.

This cruise along the Erie Canal was absolutely memorable and wonderful. Dave was a wonderful captain who shared interesting facts and many jokes that we all enjoyed. We loved our time on the boat, and even though it rained part of the time, it did not ruin the experience. We learned a lot, loved being able to experience going through a lock, and just enjoyed seeing the beautiful scenery. I highly recommend booking with Erie Canal Cruises!

This boat tour is a must. It is worth every penny if you’re looking for a fun, relaxing ride with some educational value. Courteous and professional staff who keep it light during the tour. Captain Dave maintains a safe environment and knows what he’s doing. He tells lot of funny jokes and the First Mate Dean was there to make supplement everything to ensure it ran smoothly. Great crew with a great attitude which made for a fun day. All around wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend!

Yesterday was our 3rd visit to Herkimer for this Canal cruise. We all enjoyed ourselves again. Crew is always smiling and the Captain is just the best! He's very informative and funny🤣
The boat itself is kept immaculate, seating is comfy too.
Price is very fair for the hour and a half trip.
Treat yourself and family or friends to a relaxing little trip.
We will surely be going back again. 👍🏼

We were staying at the Herkimer Diamond KOA Resort campground and wanted to check out the local sights.

The Erie Canal cruise in Herkimer has been on my bucket list for years, and I finally did it on a 10:30 boat ride. The crew was super nice. Sat outside for the best view and was still able to hear the recording and the captain’s info about history and facts. Being in lock 18 while it filled and again while it drained were so cool. The boat ride was peaceful. Glad it is still around to experience.
