An exceptional little bakery with amazing service. The way you treat people makes an impact and Emily at Emilia's Bakehouse absolutely delivered. Everything from the coffee to croissants, scones, and cookies were SO delicious! I had one croissant the next day, and it was still amazing!!! Not like other places where they dry out the next day. My family and I are so happy we stopped by. Planning our next trip to Emilia’s very soon!!!

In this tiny strip mall you will find Emilias Bake Shop, many other bakeries have attempted to open a bakery in this spot. Our hamlet of East Nortport already has many exceptional long term bakeries that offer unique and favorite choices. I was surprised with just how small the bakery was I was hoping it would be a coffee cafe and dessert spot with casual seating to make this a new local go to spot. Unfortunately it’s just a small plain bakery with fresh breads and pastries we tried a blueberry crumb pie for one it was delicious and not too sweet or too tart. My husbands taste of a cheese cake pumpkin was good.
I just can not see them surviving long term with out creating this as a Different type of basic walk in walk out bakery, since NP and East Northport have historically amazing bakeries already.

I had to get a birthday cake and heard great things about this bakery. The ladies were super friendly and brought out a tray of various cakes for me to see. I was torn between the strawberry shortcake and the Brooklyn blackout chocolate cake…. I went with the chocolate and Omg it was SO GOOD!!! NOT overly sweet and my picky family loved it! While I was at the bakery, I also grabbed a mini pretzel croissant and cold brew coffee. Both fresh and hit the spot. But back to the cake… it was so fresh and so good!! I will absolutely be back to try the strawberry shortcake and the flourless chocolate cakes I hear great things about too! I saw they do custom cakes as well. But these must be some of their best and they do them well!! So glad I popped in, it’s hard to find a really good bakery - and so happy to have one close to home!

Edit to add: second time ordering from this gem… empanadas… delicious! Muffins… super fresh and so good!!

I really liked stopping in here! Coffee and food were both good. However, there’s not much seating inside, just one small table. I was the only customer sitting in that day, so it was fine. But I think they’d benefit from a bigger seating area. I was told this East Northport location does a lot of baking for the original Melville location. I’m planning to try out that location soon.

I came in here to text my mom and a friend because there was a creepy guy a block away flirting with me and asking for my number (he looked around my dad’s age), and the owner was really nice and let me sit. I decided to buy a cookie (the oval ones with jelly inside and chocolate at the top) and she gave it to me for free!! I already came here sometimes because they have the best rainbow cookies, although I haven’t been here for a while. But I’m going to come here for all of my baked good needs, and I’m gonna try to come more frequently! I’m also going to convince my family to come here too šŸ™‚ if you’re reading this thank you for the help and for the cookie šŸ™‚ I hope you have a good day

Great find! Amazing expresso drinks, food, deserts and the freshest almond croissants! Best I’ve had on Long Island. Highly recommend stopping in to grab a few for your next brunch, business meeting, or event! Sure to be a hit. Perfect for that morning/midday pick me up or sweet tooth on your busy day of errands!!

Went in for a loaf of Italian bread and ended up getting olive bread too. Both breads were delicious. Mike the owner was very accommodating and friendly. The renovations in the bakery look great. So happy that we have a neighborhood bakery and I will definitely be going back.

Ordered a cake and paid over a week in advance. Showed up at the agreed upon time on the morning of my party to find that they lost the order and don’t have a cake for me. I spent 20 minutes getting everything reordered with their promise that they would have it delivered to my house by 4PM. They called me back at 3 pm to tell me they couldn’t deliver it and I had to come pick it up. The cake was a mess and incorrectly executed to boot. The buttercream was grainy and the cake had no discernible flavor. There was no apology, no discount. The person at the counter told me that the ā€œhead bakerā€ made it himself (as if I’m supposed to feel grateful) and that the lost order was a ā€œmiscommunicationā€. If they had actually rectified the situation and owned their mistake I wouldn’t be writing this scathing review. Very poorly handled. Will never come here again.
