The store is always nasty, dirty & smells. They had no lettuce of any kind except already bagged salad mixes, which most of them are old & brown looking. Most the produce section was empty.

Prices are priced gouged. There's absolutely no one else. Except a very busy cashier to help answer your questions. There's no one to help the elderly, OT handicap, like myself to help pick up your groceries, or loaf them In your vehicle.
The sales on display are way off. One week it's on sale for, ( example) for 5.99, the next week the sales paper will say, 7.99. Is inflation that bad within a week. Serious, if you can go somewhere else, the.n do so. This store is aware you must drive atleast 18 miles to the nearest.

Ma Kiya is the rudest cashier I have ever had. She never said a word to me, literally threw my items in the bags, and then when the total was ready started BRUSHING HER HAIR! When she handed me my receipt, I said, "thank you" and she looked away and managed an "ummmhmmm."I mean, what the hell? Her attitude is awful.

I mean, look. It's the only grocery store in Elba. They know this, so they can keep prices high. They know that they are the only game in town, so there is zero competition. The Elba Marketplace has done something to me that I believed was impossible, they made me wish for another Dollar General to be built, this time a DG Market, though.

We need a grocery store in Elba, but we don't need one like this. They price gouge because we are 20 miles away from their closest competition.

Local favorites and plenty of items to shop for.Friendly staff that are very helpful answering your questions. Parking lot is large enough to handle the crowds so you don't have to walk a mile. Stop by and check it out yourself. Products are definitely worth stopping by for.Folks have made this their go to for years 👍

My grand baby fell in there store and they didn't bother to ask if he was ok even though he was screaming. When I brought it to their attention they said you want me to make a report yet didn't bother to take our name or anything. All we were worried about was him not sure happy like some folks even though that's probably what they thought but they said their responsibility as a business to see about the ones who keep them open. I will not be back.
Then the manager gives me bad looks as I'm leaving the store, shame on you not acceptable.
