Beautiful trendy restaurant with great ambiance and space for dates, dinner with friends and family. I came in solo while visiting and sat at the bar for an early dinner. It gave nyc vibes which I loved. . I ordered sea bass provided with bread as an appetizer. The sea bass was a little lackluster and could use more flavoring, perhaps salt. The warm bread with butter provided was so delicious and better than the meal in my opinion. I didn’t try the cocktails since I had a long drive but plan to return to explore other entrees and drinks on the menu when in town.

Mocktails were pretty good, bread was too salty and the butter lacked salt completely which you think would add up but it however did not. I loved the fried burrata and the Bronzino but shitake mushroom ramen had too umami/salt but not too bad overall. I think i would like to visit and try the food again when its not too busy for restaurant week in there. Good place overall tho 🙂

Met friends out for Restaurant week dinner at Chef Jays. Awesome choices for Appy’s, Main & dessert. I had the most delicious oysters, an absolutely incredible steak (one of the best I have ever had) and scrumptious espresso martini for dessert. My Hubby had scotch eggs, chicken parm & a delectable lemon cheesecake. We will be back soon to enjoy the regular menu.

Restaurant Week.
Bread and butter candle was great.
Appetizer was delicious soup 10/10.
My gf ordered a burger with fries, super salty like licking a salt block levels. I ordered the Mediterranean Sea Bass which was on point cooked perfect. The risotto that came with it was mushy and the broccoli rob tasted like it was cooked in the great Salt Lake in Utah. Even the waiter admitted numerous other tables made similar complaints on the salt levels. I can only hope this was cook having an off night. Cocktails weren't as good as I hoped but I tried new things.* The atmosphere was nice and I'd be willing to try it again someday on a "normal night".

We came here for an early Valentine's Day dinner and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing, and so was our waitress! The gnocchi with the pesto was the best I've ever had! The corn brulee was just incredible! There are a lot of unique creative food options that are super flavorful and tasty, and we can't wait to come back and try more of them. A very romantic atmosphere! Also the "selecting your own" blade for the pork chop was pretty fun!

We finally made our first visit to Downtown by Chef Jay Pisculli and were not disappointed! This was hands down some of the best food we’ve had (ever) and it 100% topped any of the local upscale eateries around here. We had the fried deviled eggs for an appetizer which were absolutely incredible and so different. For our main course, my husband and I both had different versions of their pork chops that were enormous (double the normal thickness) and perfectly cooked through - and not too mention, the sauce was to die for! Our waitress was super friendly, absolutely on the ball and provided great service throughout our dinner. The chef came out to our table and personally recommended our main dish which was such a nice touch. It was absolutely the best pork chops we’d ever had! Lastly, the cocktails were beautifully creative (and even the mocktale I had was sooo good👌🏼). We cannot wait to come back here and try out more of their food!

This was our second time coming here and the food was absolutely delicious the burger was cooked perfectly and the gnocchi my girlfriend had was just as good. The service was fantastic! We got our drinks quick and food quicker. Definitely recommend! We will be back for sure !

Rarely have I been so taken care of in a restaurant; exceptional service from Jacob. Many downtown spots will tack a large price point on their items and not follow through with consistency. However, Downtown by Chef Jay exceeded our expectations in both food and hospitality. My girlfriend remarked that it seems like an establishment where they are genuinely passionate about the food and how it's prepared, and I agreed. We will be back!
