I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into Donelan’s for the first time. I’m not sure what I expected to expect but the first thing that came to mind was that it was super clean and had a home like feel. In other words it is welcoming.

Lot of good selections when it comes to food and the staff does a great job getting you in and out with whatever you need. Parking is always easy to come by and it’s never packed.

Overall a really enjoyable shopping experience. Highly recommend!

Great local market! They have a wonderful staff and are fully stocked with great meats, seafood, deli, produce, bakery, beer & wine and sushi! Clean, plenty of parking, and very helpful,friendly staff.

I have been shopping here for 30 years. Their produce is always fresh, the best meats and wonderful service. I have 3 other larger markets near me with larger selections but their meats and vegetables are questionable. I prefer to pay a little more for the quality and service I get here.

Had a very negative experience with the cashiers here. One stared at me blankly while trying to check out and pay until the customer ahead of me mentioned they were having a hold up with an item not scanning. I was avoiding the other cashier because I witnessed her sneeze somewhat hard while wearing a face mask and gloves. I assumed she was sick and I have someone who is very disabled at home who can't afford to catch what she had. So I ended up switching to this lane and asked her if I could swipe the only item I bought so as to avoid indirect exposure and she gave me quite a rude reply along the lines of "I guess it doesn't matter who scans it..." before she angrily snatched the prepared meal I bought and literally threw it across the bagging area. Incredibly rude! Grow up, lady. What even was your issue? And the manager just watched it happen and said NOTHING. Pretty awful. Thanks Shanna, or Shenna, or whatever your name was. You displayed how to make a fool of yourself! Don't go to work sick when you're touching people's food!

And for the record, the bbq beef bites tasted fine but were quite tough. I don't recommend them to customers who are mandibularly challenged in one way or another.

I was pleasantly surprised by the vast selection at Donelan's. They had everything from  produce to gourmet cheeses and a good selection of international wines. I was particularly impressed with their selection of organic vegetables and artisan breads. The staff was incredibly helpful, too. They helped me find a rare bottle of Italian wine I'd been searching for and even gave me some delicious recipe suggestions. The store itself was spotless and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. I left feeling happy and satisfied with my shopping experience. I highly recommend checking it out!

Always a childhood favorite of mine, has changed over the years though. Consistently friendly staff is a plus, and a great selection including a relatively new beer and wine section. However they used to play relaxing classical music, now it’s super generic elevator music 🤔 as long as I can remember they played Mozart, Bach and Vivaldi, not anymore. I also haven’t seen the harpist who used to play there in a while. Still a great store though.

Love this market. Shop there all the time though it is twenty five minutes away. Worth the trip. Great atmosphere, welcoming staff, wonderful prepared food, bakery and everything else. And very clean all the time but especially during these trying times.
