Definitely busy on a Friday night. Took a while to get drinks and food. They were also out of two different beers (at a brewery) so we opted for a cocktail. Both the Southwest Burger and Turkey Wrap were $20 and average at best.

Update: we loved this place so much the first time we went back for Christmas and it was even better!!!!!!!!

Original:

My wife, daughter and I stopped here for dinner on our first night in town. The waitress was amazing and her knowledge of the menu was top notch. After a few minutes of bantering back and forth with her she made some phenomenal recommendations for food and drink. Everything was ridiculously good. I’d say it tasted as good as the pics make it look but we didn’t get around to taking picks until most of it was gone!!!!!! Then just when I thought we were done and I was telling the waitress I would pass on another beer, she told me about the super secret stash that’s not on the menu. W O W ! ! ! Maybe the best beer I’ve ever had.

It starts with exceptional service, and our server Marissa was the best, Great atmosphere and vibe. We stayed in Silverthorne, but I recommend those staying in other hotshots like Breckenridge or even Vail, make the drive out to Dillon Dam Brewery. Food is excellent and value is incredible. Last and not least, the beer is a must try. Their DAM IPA is stellar. Food: get the pretzel, the chili, and their version of French Onion Soup (best I've had). You won't be disappointed.

Dillon Dam Brewery serves american cuisine/pub food at a lively environment, with the highlight being their own IPA. I ended up sitting at the bar so I can't speak about the service, but it seemed fine. Their burger was delicious and came out pretty fast.

A Huge Disappointment – What Happened to Dillon Dam Brewery?

Dillon Dam Brewery has completely lost its way. This used to be one of our favorite places—we visited multiple times a year and always enjoyed the food and atmosphere. But after this most recent visit, it’s clear the management has changed, and not for the better.

For starters, they removed the veggie patty burger from the menu. This is not only disappointing but shows a complete lack of regard for vegetarians. It’s baffling that a staple item catering to a diverse customer base has been eliminated.

The rest of the food was nothing short of a disaster. The mac and cheese was laughable—just pasta sitting in watery, flavorless cheese sauce. I ordered a burger, and it was served without onions, tomatoes, or lettuce. It was a sad, plain, dry burger that I could’ve made better at home.

The appetizers were even worse. The whipped feta was so sour it was nearly inedible. The nacho chips were cold and stale, the guacamole tasted old, and the salsa was far from fresh. It felt like no thought, effort, or care went into any of the food.

This place is a shadow of what it once was. The quality has tanked, and the charm is gone. Unless the management steps up, brings back thoughtful menu options, and significantly improves food quality, I will never return.

This is not the Dillon Dam Brewery we used to know and love. It’s heartbreaking to see such a great spot fall so far. Avoid until major changes are made.

Be sure to bring your appetite! I ordered the small nachos and barely made a dent in them. Our waiter (Cade, I believe) was awesome. Everyone at the table was highly satisfied and stuffed at lunchtime! Maybe too stuffed 🤔. Definitely a spot we make it a point to stop at when in town! Thanks to the Dam Brewery for Dam good food and Dam good beer!

This is an awesome spot and we will definitely be coming back. The Classic Dam with sweet potato waffle fries was a perfect lunch. Monica was SO friendly and kind and brightened our day ❤️

Service was great. Cool place. Patio seating. Bar seating. We sat inside. Food was great. We were super hungry but that didn’t stop me from getting a pretzel. It dang it was good. Cheese and mustard were perfect. My wrap was very good as well as the fries. Not overly crunchy. Husband loved the soup.
