We have been here several times and their treats are just spot on!
Now this is delicious traditional nieve de garrafa (churned ice cream) without heavy consistency of milk. More like a raspado but a tad bit creamy. I loved their coconut ice cream that has dried coconut strips 💘

Also their esquite is satisfying! 🤤 It reminds my husband of his hometown in Mexico. I usually request light mayo in my esquite.
The funnel cake is enough for two 😋
Açaí bowl portion is super filling!

El Mercadito in LA has been replaced.

I got 2 funnel cakes and deep-fried oreos. I liked both. It was tasty.
Just wish the menu was like um maybe updated? So you can see the funnel cakes actually cost $13.95 instead of only showing $4.95. Oreos were correct price. The only other kind of "bad" thing was that the lady helping at the counter wasn't too friendly.

Would I go back? Ehhhh.... Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but I think I would try to find another spot with a more friendly and welcoming atmosphere before coming back.

Atmosphere does make a difference.

Absolutely love this place! Their horchata is to die for! I literally have to stop myself from buying one everyday. The staff is also super sweet! 10/10 would recommend Delicious Freedom to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Nachos were cold. The corn was not sweet and greasy. Very slow service. And she did cross contamination by using the gloves on the register and the food. 4/14/22 after 5pm

Funnel cake was filling enough for 2. Maybe even 3. The First time i stopped by, no one came to the register so i was just waiting and left, didn't think I'd come back, But decided to give it another try. Glad i did . Oreo funnel cake was good, will have to be back to try more
