Sometimes cool, sometimes not. Delaney farm is a preserved riparian wetland area with a few historic buildings on site. The buildings are open with historical information during the daytime hours. There is only a little sun cover so bring sunscreen. It's nice for a walk, but not a long visit, really. If you want to visit for the history, I'd recommend looking up their open house days so you can ask more questions. Also, they have one "homestead day" and where volunteers dress in period costumes and talk all about life at that time. That was the one and only and maybe last time I've ever tried rabbit stew!

Great trails, waterways, and great history going back 100 years. The old school house had its last classes in 1955. There are horses and a round cattle barn. Round barns calmed cows and the cows provided better milk that has been re proved in a recent movie by a young college woman who had to win the respect of some very arrogant Male cattle ranchers who thought women had no place in the cattle business ( they were so wrong!) especially in the thunderstorms in Aurora Colorado round barns provided better wind resistance than a square one.
