If you want your family to have a magical experience, go visit Deep Roots Farm! We happened across it when looking to do apple picking, and it turned out Deep Roots had taken over a previously defunct farm. The owner, Chris, happily took us on an impromptu apple-picking adventure, told us so much about how farming in this area works, let my daughter hold chickens and a baby chick, and had an amazing selection of fresh produce for sale as well.

I’ve been a CSA member at Deep Roots Farm for a few months now. I’ve really enjoyed getting my farm fresh produce from them each week! The quality is superb, there is a nice variety of items, and the people are super friendly and helpful. I also love that they are a regenerative, biodynamic farm:)
